My steps for today total 23,070 or 16.14 km or 1,556 calories. You would think that with all of the stepping I would have lost some weight, right? I mean, I am burning waaay more than I usually would. But, no. This morning showed me 3 lbs heavier. Aah, the joys of womanhood.

Rep Power: 25 | | I don't think my inches have changed over the past 6 months, either.
Anyway, I'm only at about 10,000 steps for today, so I'd better get moving!

Well, if your inches haven't changed that means the 3 lbs could very well be water weight. |

Rep Power: 25 | | So the scale today still showed me 3 lbs heavier - but my tape measure showed my waist 1/2 an inch smaller! That was good.
My steps today are 29,443. Distance is 20.61 km. Calories burned are 2166. There is absolutely no way I should not be losing weight!
Today I ate:
bran cereal + 1% milk
1/2 banana with 1 tsp pnut bttr
3 egg white omelet + 2 slices lunch ham + 1 oz cheese
1 apple + 1 oz cheese
yogurt + 1/2 banana
popcorn 2 cups, no butter.
Cheers

Rep Power: 25 | | Aww, thanks, Sweetie.
Today I am going to track my WW points again. Various successful folks on this forum have suggested taking my goal weight x 10 and eating that many calories. So for now, since I want at this point just to get back to 150, that equals 1,500 calories or 30 WW points. I am not doing my killer workout, just sticking with my crazy amount of walking. I haven't been tracking my food over the last 2 weeks, but know that I haven't gone crazy with my portions. My concern is that perhaps I haven't been eating enough.
*sigh* It frustrates me that it is not just the simple "eat less, move more" that every "expert" touts it to be. If that were the case, I would have LONG AGO reached my goal. I do also think that my marital stress could be a factor in keeping me where I am presently (on many levels - not just weight!).
Thanks for being a part of my journey, everyone. ABBA |

Rep Power: 20 | | Sorry you're struggling a bit with the scale. Funny how too much stress in any one area can affect so much other stuff. Just make sure you make some time for yourself You deserve it! Have a good weekend~Lisa |

Rep Power: 25 | | Thanks, guys. Yesterdays steps totaled 28,110
kms totaled 19.67, and calories burned 2035. But today I am still heavier, and I can see pudge where there was none before.
I am disappointed and irritated, but I will have to just go back to my old torture routine of running + extra walking. I don't know why or how so much extra walking but not sweating could not have a positive effect on my body
My stress level remains high, though possibly not as high. My nails, which I had been able to grow, are now short little stubs again. So extra weight is NOT a good thing right now.
On the happy side, I did go to the store this week and bought myself a GORGEOUS dress to wear when my band is performing higher-end functions. It is absolutely stunning, and VERY form fitting! This will be good impetus to stick with the WL programme. If my bod only responds to brutal, sweaty workouts, then that is what it will get.
Cheers

So I got on my treadmill and ran for a solid hour, no stopping, no calisthenics. Hopefully this course will get me back to where I was.

Rep Power: 25 | | YAY for the start of two days off! Maybe even 3... oh, everyone is gone, and I am reveling in my alone-ness! *sigh* a whole day full of reading, and watching TLC, and of course, working out! *sigh* sounds like heaven to me.
I am thankful to see the sun peeking through the clouds today. I have had it with grey Canadian winter!!! I am ready for Spring.
Cheers

Rep Power: 25 | | Treadmill, hot and sweaty, feels good. Doing a revised abs workout, easing back into things.
Today I am going back to see my marriage counselor, which should be helpful to me. I need help. 15 yrs is a long time.
Cheers

Rep Power: 20 | | Hey Thought I'd pop in and say hello and catch up on your journal. I was re-reading some stuff too and wondering if you're still stuck? I was thinking back to when I'd lost 80 pounds and still had alot to lose but got stuck. I had worked up to walking almost 4 hours a day and my body seemed to get used to it. So maybe you're onto something with mixing it up a bit cuz that seemed to help me. I only have half a knee cap though so I had to be careful of my knees too. I used to live near an awesome gym and use the pool and elliptical. Sucks now because all thats here close is the YMCA and it's so crowded most the time. Anyway hope you have good week and find a good counselor right off the bat so you don't have to hunt around. Cya ~Lisa |

Been away from my diary for a while, but am back to my regular hour on the 'mill at least 5 x weekly. It feels good, as much as I hate it, and it is helping with my moods again.
It was good to chat with my counselor again after not doing so for a number of months. She always has some pearls of wisdom for me that help me see things in a different light, and keep me from throwing in the towel after being married for so long.
So I have not lost any more weight, but am feeling good about where I am. If this is the weight for the rest of my life, I can deal with it. I feel healthy and (sometimes) happy, too.
