HOOOT AND HOLLA!!! OH YEAH!! your almost past me now, you go girl!!! My scale is on stale mode currently, so it wouldn't surprise me if you pass right by me by next weigh in, which I will be soooooo happy for you!! GREAT JOB and good luck again on another successful week!
Kim
Hi, Wulsk! Thanks so much for stopping by my diary and for your very kind words! *blushing* I don't feel like my weight loss has been overly impressive in a numbers kind of way, but I sure do feel a whole lot better with every pound lost.
I wonder what plan you are using to lose? I'll try to find your diary.

Hey, Miss LadyBug! Phooey on that darned stale scale; what's a gal to do? I finally dug out my old scale yesterday, and lo and behold it is actually accurate. However, I still don't think it would be very healthy for me to weigh in more than 2 x per week at the most. I like getting weighed in at WW every week. It sure does keep me accountable!
I think you are muuuuuch taller than me (I am 5'4")? Not sure why I think that. LOL I guess your head shot makes you look tall! You are very pretty. Anyhoo, good luck to you this week, and thanks for your kind encouragement!
A pretty good day so far. For breakfast I had bran flakes with 1% milk (typical). Snack at work was a 100 cal bag of cookie bits. Lunch was 1% cottage cheese with fruit (also typical). Now I am home and drinking my first ACV mixture of the day. I will have more in the early evening after dinner. I haven't been having my protein shakes as much recently. It is hard, when I am working, to drink all of the water, ACV, protein shake, and also my daily cup of java! All I do is drink and pee!
At any rate, the sun was shining today, which is a rarity in our valley over the winter months. We get an exceedingly high amount of sunshine from Spring to Fall, but come winter, we get a lot of grey skies. So when I got home from work I took a different route and went walkabout for around half an hour at a good clip. It feels so good to breathe in the cool, fresh Canadian air!
I am hoping for at least another 1/2 lb loss on Friday morning. I don't feel as though I have lost anymore this week, but still have a few days left.

What is this ACV drink that your talking about in your diary? I was thinking it was either a protein shake of some sort or a cleansing type drink. but never heard of it before. anyways thanks for the well wishes on hubby's homecoming tonight.. i can't wait.. 7 more hours and hubby will be home for good other then when he has to go to school or work.. haha.. i feel like i'm in a dream. he called me just a few minutes ago and said he's now classified up there at the base as a civilian instead of a SGT. So he's officially out of the army as of 2:45pm today.. woohoo.. now for him to get home for good.
BEAUTY: I haven't noticed ACV to make a difference with my weight loss; however, it certainly did chase away the pain from my shingles (Thank God above!), which is what I was after. Perhaps if I did not drink it with honey it might help with WL, but the taste is tooooo rank for this Canuck! I put 1 TBSP ACV with 2 tsp honey and a full, large mug of hot water. A dash of cinnamon on top, and it is quite pleasant on a chilly afternoon!
RAH: Yes, I count my WW weigh in weight as my actual weight.
MARGARET: I'd love to think I've lost this week, but I just don't feel it. It has been a hard week with my DH, and stress does take its toll. I think it is wonderful what a great relationship you and your DH have after so many years! We've been married for 13 yrs, and most of them have been just plain hard. He is a good man, and he so loves our daughters. He is just very, very hard to live with on a daily basis.
Well, I hope you've all had a more successful WL week than I have. The good news is how much I have lost already, and I know the rest will also come off in good time!
You certainly have done very well on your project to date. By my reckoning you have lost about 12 pounds since the more recent of your posted photos - and that looks great.
I am sorry that you are stressed. Stress never helps weight loss. It is helped by exercise though - so if you dont get another nice opportunity to walk outside it may be worth firing up the treadmill and having a bit of an indoor walk.
I am sorry that your hubby can be hard to live with. It must be tiring for you dealing with young children and a less than supportive relationship. My husband (although not perfect because none of us are) is exceptional and I certainly appreciate this fact. We do disagree at times - but such things are minor and short-lived.
Okay, I went for a walk with Mumsy today, even though IT WAS DANG CHILLY! Mercy on us, what are we, in Canada or something??? For sure a good few degrees below 0, anyways. Sorry, don't know what that translates to for my Yankee buddies, but in CDN, it means BRRR! Gettin' chilly. Not cold, mind you. Cold is -35 with the wind whipping in off the bald prairie, freezing exposed flesh...but, I digress
Tomorrow is my weigh-in. I hope I have lost a pound.
I am also keeping my eldest daughter home with me tomorrow. She is the one who was home-schooled, and is at the very top of her grade 6 class. She is such a good girl. We are going to have a full day of Christmas shopping for loved ones and lunch out together. She's very excited to have me to herself for a whole day! I will take my youngest out for just an afternoon in December. She is not quite as far ahead in her class, though in the top 1/3. I just don't want her to feel jealous!
I am enjoying our chilly CDN evenings. The girls and I often play board games together and they have hot chocolate while I have my ACV. It is so pleasant to spend time with loved ones! I know that I am truly blessed
Well, hopefully I'll have a good report for you all tomorrow!
I hope that the walk helped with the stress. Walking sub zero should certainly have made you feel fresh and awake! I have been getting later and later leaving the house for my morning walk - I give the planet a chance to warm up a bit. There has only been two mornings when I have gone out and there has been a white tinge to the grass as I have set out on my walk. I am clearly not as tough as my mate Janice!!! Heaven knows how I will cope if we get some bad winter days - I am hoping for a really warm winter - optimist that I am! I also keep returning to the question of where we could ever shoe-horn in a treadmill into this house. It is not the price of it - it is where to put the damned thing!

Hey Janice!
I just read up on your diary! You sound like you are doing awesome!
I just hope I pick up the pace lol
Time with mom is great...so I am sure your time you have with the girls is beautiful! Awesome! Its that time of year... brrr....
I had the sun today... so when I went walking I was getting some of that vitamin D. Wore mitts and a hat... have you been trying to stay warm when you walk? Mitts and hats?
well I hope you get sun tomorrow. I don't think I could live with out it, but I love living in the North Country... always a nice time ...
Hi All
Well, sorry to report that I did not lose so much as 1 oz this week. Mind you, nor did I gain any, so I suppose it could be much worse. When I review my WL graph, I see that I seem to lose, then hold steady for a couple of weeks, then lose, then hold steady again, etc. So it shouldn't be too much of a shock to me I guess.
At any rate, just to be on the safe side, I have been *religiously* recording my food and WW points. The lower my weight gets, the lower # of points I am supposed to have - but I am never hungry. And I do have 35 extra points per week to play with. LIkely these will get used up tonight, as we are out shortly to our first Christmas party of the year!
This afternoon Mum & I took my girls to see Aladdin performed by our local theatre troupe. They did a great job, and it was a fun way to spend the afternoon! I love exposing the children to culture.
DH has been fiendishly working on some of our music, getting it ready to put on our MySpace site to advertise our band, Skyrocket 99. Tomorrow after church will find me down in our makeshift studio recording lyrics YET AGAIN! Oh well, it keeps him out of trouble! We need a new bass player & hope to attract one with our MySpace page.
All for now, I sure do hope you are all well. At this time of year I just feel so very blessed to be near my family & friends, to have my good health, and a job I truly enjoy. It would be hard for things to be much brighter in my world!
