The weather was chilly but bright making for a pleasant walk.
General Data:
Morning walk = 6.3 miles.
Round the block = 4 times (on one lap my husband came too)
Extra exercises = yoga class
Weight = 13st 7.0lbs (i.e. 189.0 pounds)
Steps = 28,364
Distance = 10.52 miles
Remembered to take normal vitamin / supplements
Continued my creaming regime – missed off one bio-oil massage
Food / Drink:
1 banana
3 weetabix, 1 heaped teaspoon of sweetener (a level teaspoon is apparently 1.9 calories) and the (large) bowl topped up with skimmed milk.
40 grapes
handful of honey shreddies
salmon fillet, 3 new potatoes, sweetcorn, 2 small knobs olive spread
2 large handfuls of raisins
2 litres of cold water
some diet cola |

The weather was again chilly but bright making for a reasonably pleasant walk.
Bought loads of chocolate for Halloween and less children have turned up than any recent year. I think because a local church was doing a traditional Halloween party. Heaven knows what I will do with all this chocolate that is left over!! Husband says that he will eat it all – but that is far from an ideal solution. I have had none so far – he has had about one fun-size bag full already! I have tried to hide some away to one side for carol singers in a month’s time – but am not sure how that will pan out.
General Data:
Morning walk = 6.3 miles.
Round the block = 5 times (on two laps my husband came too)
Extra exercises = none
Weight = 13st 6.2lbs (i.e. 188.2 pounds)
Steps = 29,293
Distance = 10.86 miles
Remembered to take normal vitamin / supplements
Continued my creaming regime
Food / Drink:
1 banana
3 weetabix, 1 heaped teaspoon of sweetener (a level teaspoon is apparently 1.9 calories) and the (large) bowl topped up with skimmed milk.
3 honey Shreddies nibbled
pork loin chop, tin of baked beans, spoon apple sauce
2 large handfuls of raisins
2 litres of cold water
some diet cola The month of October
I am really pleased with my project results for the month of October.
During September I hit two plateaus. I did not have any during October – just a sluggish week when I went to the reunion.
I have worked very hard and stayed focused and feel that I have been rewarded for my efforts. On 1st October my weight was 14 st 4.2 lbs (i.e. 200.2 pounds).
On 31st October my weight is 13 st 6.2 lbs (i.e. 188.2 pounds).
This means that I lost 12 pounds during October.

Congrats on your 12 lb. weight loss this month! You work so hard you deserve every single lb.
We don't get any trick or treaters where I live. I live on a semi-rural road, with no streetlights, so the kids never come here. My youngest is having teeth pulled today and she asked me to buy her some candy since she isn't going out for Halloween. I bought her some KitKats and some Reeses cups. I won't lie---I did have 2 Reeses cups last night. Good for you for resisting the temptation!
I gotta get ready to go to the gym, but I wanted to drop by and congratulate you on your loss.
See ya around.

Rep Power: 85 | | Hi Anne
Thanks for the congratulations.
Your poor child - getting teeth pulled. You could not possibly refuse her candy. I am sure that your little candy bites will not count against you. My problem is that I know that once I start - I find it almost impossible to stop. I have too addictive a temperament.
I hope that the gym goes well.
Take care
Love

Thank you for visiting my diary and sending your congratulations.
No-one could possibly understand how welcome the change is - after all - I am a lot bigger now than a lot of people get on their biggest "before" moment.
I am obese and know it - but cannot help feeling quite slim. Everything is comparitive!!!
I still have a long way to go. I just hope that I can stay focused and complete the task.
Take care
Best wishes

Thanks for the congratulations. I would like to see us all get results like that for November. It is certainly better than my September result - but that was marred by two horrible plateaus. The only good thing I was say about those is that I discovered this forum while desperately searching for a way to end the plateau.
The only bad thing about the holiday challenge is that it seems that I have to calculate my calories. I am not sure how I will go with that.
Hope things are better with you - and of course goal reaching as ever. Lagniappe
Thanks for your congratulations. Lets hope for a good November for us all. |
