Have you set a date for your surgeries? Breasts and skin I guess from your last few posts, huh? You will feel so amazing afterwards! I cannot wait to be your size (just a few more pounds to go), but once you have surgery I will have to work hard to catch up with you again !
Also bonk sounds dirty to me too! Must be the britishness. A friend of mine was talking about fanny packs the other day and I kept thinking, what on earth could fanny packs be... I thought along the lines of big tampons of something. Then found out in the US a fanny is a bottom ! Fanny packs are bumbags! Oh these americans! same for pussy... I was singing "the owl and the pussy cat" to one of my babysit kids and a (american) mom apporached me on the playground (as I was singing loudly: oh lovely pussy oh pussy my love what a lovely pussy you are) and asked me not to sing dirty lyrics in her children's vicinity!
Have a great week, Camy | Good to see that you are ok and doing well too Camy. I rarely get into my own diary let alone any one else's these days. Sometimes people have things in here for weeks before I twig and put a reply in... I sometimes pop into a maintenance club here or answer a question posted - but am not nearly as active as I was. I cannot even enter most challenges these days either as I am not really looking for weight loss.
My breast application is being sent to PCT with surgeon approval so hope that will all come together. I am holding off on the abdominoplasty request until I have the breast reduction agreed as I dont want to be asking for too many things at once. It might cause them to view the breasts as purely cosmetic...
I have had to get a new GP as my old GP has just retired this week which in itself causes problems.
Hey Camy - I have a query for you... If your PCT refuses and you appeal and get nowhere - can you apply to another PCT? What are the rules with that - is it any other PCT or just neighbouring areas? I saw someone on another forum say that her doctor had applied to another PCT after the first one turned her down...
I am trying to get my head around the whole process and it's different paths...
That is so funny about the Owl and the Pussycat....
I know that one for my friends is Canadian and she works in a kitchen. She got some flour on her trousers once and didnt understand why we laughed when she said "I've dirtied my pants!"... |

Rep Power: 85 | | I have been pretty busy putting the finishing touches to a challenge that I am going to be running through the whole month of December on ANOTHER DIET FORUM. It should be really fun and very beneficial for all entrants.
It certainly has a Christmas theme and is flexible enough to be able to fit around everyone's individual party and holiday plans whilst covering what I consider to be the most important lessons in weight control that I have utilised during my weight loss project.
I think that a lot of people (including very experienced people) will learn something new...
I am getting really excited about it as I am going to be unveiling it in the challenges section there over the next few days - Wednesday at the latest!!!
Whilst weight loss is part of the points structure for those looking to reduce their weight - there are also going to be equivalent points for people in maintenance and people who are aiming for a controlled gain - so pregnant ladies and people looking to gain muscle can compete with the same chance of winning...
December is a key month for people who recognise that they need to control their weight. The average (non dieting) person actually gains 7 pounds over that month. By staying on track we can lock in our progress to date and hopefully improve our position - rather than slide backwards.
Experienced direction and an awesome support chat thread always makes success a lot more likely.
It will be my Christmas gift to forum friends from here who visit from time to time and from there. Also to others that join me for the ride. Naturally all are welcome to join. |
