Rep Power: 24 | | | A Fresh Start THANX everyone for all your help and support so far.
I've named this a fresh start mainly because i have been on this journey for 4 weeks and now it is another start in away.
christmas and all the bad eating is over with even though i was reaaly good lol.
also i have changed my ticker to a waist ticker-basically because after 4 weeks i have lost 2lbs according to the scales but lost 2.2inches according to the measuring tape. i prefer the tape lol!!! MARGARET - i have started the excel sheet. i will enter my first bit of data for today later. thanx!! so my goals this month or until JANUARY 31st are:
excercise- atleast 30mins a day
calorie range - 1500-1600
that is it!!!!!!
also i have found out that there is a wedding i have to go to on the 30th of march. now i have a major essay to hand in on the 31st march. so my 2 priorities for the next 13 weeks are 1. get the essay done!!! (in good time)
2. lose some inches! (hopefully a dress size= 2inch from everywhere)
well the first 4 weeks are over so i will post my measurements and weightloss data!
;-)

Rep Power: 24 | | | Month 2 - DAY 1 Month 2 - DAY 1 - 27 dec 07 weight = 162lb water = 2 litres calories = 1100-1200
excercise = 10 mins bike, 10 mins cross-trainer, 15 mins treadmill, avg heartrate = 153, max heart rate = 233
right so new begining and a good beginning at that. well fairly. had about 500 calories worth of junk food but otherwise my calories were not high at all today. i dont want to have more than 1000 calories of junk a week. did 35 mins of excercise. was sooo close to not doing any but i got down to it eventually and i am soo glad i did now!
i'm thinking i want to lose about an inch a month hopefully. or half a cm a week. is that an ok goal? everyone talks about safe weightloss but never heard of safe inch loss. any ideas???
;-)

I could not say what you could expect / hope for in the way of inch loss. Mine has always come as a bit of a surprise package. Some months I lost tons off my left thigh and nothing off my right thigh. I have clearly lost a lot of inches all over but I still have no way of predicting how much will come off next and where.
I suspect that you have a typo in your last posting as an inch is vastly different to the half a centimeter that you equate to it.
I wouldnt worry too much about the apparent low weight loss aspect on your 27th Dec weighing as I suspect that will include a few splurge pounds which should disappear as soon as you have been back on track a couple of days. I think that I warned you about that possibility a few days ago. It is not a fair basis to judge your achievements to date.
I am convinced that you will be sitting on some very noticeable changes by 30th March.
Take care
Love
Margaret |

you're right about the weight. also i am retaining water again so it will be a bit higher on the scale. i changed the typo. meant half a cm a week not month. hehe. oh well as long as i drop a dress size or 2 by march 30th. would luv to fit into a 10 for the wedding. that would be amazing!!!
we shall see when i get there.

Rep Power: 7 | | | Hi! Well done so far on the drop! I was just wondering, do you find it easy to measure the inches (or cms) lost? What made you choose this method of following your successes, rather than lbs/kgs like most people on the forum? How often do you measure yourself?
In any case, the fact that you seem so motivated is definately going to work in your favour for the 30th March. You'll be in your dream dress, I'm sure! |
