Had a quick read of your diary but its getting late and not making much sense in my head so will re-read and post again tomorrow
But that sleep did sound good i though i did well sleeping till 11am although i am poorly LOL
OMG!!! i was not planning on buying any clothes till the summer now and mums just been and brought me some new tops. to be fair i haven't told anyone and she just can't go shopping without buying something for us kids.hmm they are nice tops though--got em cheap in the sales! i can't believe the amount of clothes i have though...i don't even know what half of them are and how long i've had them. i've got new clothes waiting to be worn! i'm still living in clothes which are 1 or 2 sizes big for me. must get rid of some....in the summer!

haha thanx STACY - i tried to read back the other day and got lost! i'm planning on printing this and binding it once i reach my goal! can't wait! then i'll try and read through it and make sense of it haha!
so i'm starting the BLS challenge tomorrow like many of you---woohoo! so i'm not going to see today as a day and my new weigh in and start of week day is going to be friday rather than thursday (today).
i did the spreadsheet like margaret adviced on many occasions!!! lol! and it has really helped. i have 70 boxes across the week. if i match or exceed the goal i colour it green, if i do ok i colour it orange and if i don't reach it i colour it red!
anyway for week 1 i got:
50% green 20% orange 10% red 20% grey = didn't fill in for various reasons!
so all in all not a bad week but i can see clearly now the things i am falling back on (junk calories) which will be helped by the BLS challenge! also the things i'm good at (excercise and water). need to work harder on staying in the calorie range but i'm getting there.

i love my wardrobe!! half the clothes in there i've never worn and half have been there since years ago...and now ive run out ov halfs hehe!! anyway ive got loads ov clothes but im gonna get rid ov some as soon as i drop enough dress sizes...i am not going to be wearing clothes which are 4 sizes too big for me!

good for you!! we can do it! i love measurements...they show true progress. maybe slowr than the scale but atleast it shows a difference on the body hehe!

I am pleased that you are finding the spreadsheet idea useful. I swear that I would be lost without it. I keep backups in case of a computer problem.
It is like applying a scientific approach to the whole exercise of weight loss.
If you dont have the data - you can remember what happened for a couple of days. After that the past all becomes a total blur and you cannot remember what went right and what went wrong. The trick is to keep repeating the "what went right" bits over and over again.
I wanna be thin - the red and black teams are for the new biggest loser challenge. I am sorry but you will not be able to join in as the teams have been finalised. There are plenty of other challenges in the "challenges" section under "diet and motivation". There is a new year to valentines day challenge kicking off pretty much immediately that you would be able to join if you hurry. Also some January weight loss challenges.

i have to admit i love the spreadsheet. i can see exactly where i ma going wrong and more importantly right so i can change myself appropriately otherwise at this point i would have no idea what my next goal should be and what i should be hapy about.

Just stopping in to say hey and that I am very excited about the Biggest Loser Challenge!!! GO BLACK TEAM!!! I also wanted to thank you for making me feel so very welcome at this forum and helping me get comfortable! I will have to read through your diary and figure out this whole spreadsheet thing... lol.
