Hi Angel

Why did you leave it until the 3rd December to start the December challenge. Surely your loss on 1st and 2nd counts towards it. You lost the weight in December.

Did you see that there are two weight loss in December challenges?

We all have days when we feel bloated and horrible. Sometimes (e.g. period time) - exercise can actually help things feel better. You actually burn up more calories with exercise at that time of the month too.

If you feel like you need some extra motivation - sometimes reading other people's diaries can help. It can make you see that you are not alone.

When I need some extra motivation - I often read about "Charlie Walduck". He lost a lot of weight on the This Morning television program. You can google his name. Reading about him always helps to motivate me.

Dieting : Dr Chris Steele's PROVEN Fat Farewell Diet Plan - Introduction on www.thefamilygp.com as seen on ITV's This Morning with Charlie Walduck

I hope that you are feeling better and more positive soon.

It is important to keep eating a reasonable amount of healthy food - no matter how hungry you feel.

Think of your body like a machine. It runs much better if it has really good quality fuel and is well maintained. If you run out of petrol - the car does not go.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Hi Angel

If you weighed less on 1st Dec (I think that you did) - I would go in and edit your page so that it has the 1st and that weight. You should compare your loss for the whole month of December with other peoples. Why give everyone else a head start. My page has 1st Dec as does most people's.

Did you check out the other weight loss challenge? It is a nice one because people are a bit more inclined to encourage each other there.

If you cant stomach much to eat then milk can be a good idea. It is nourishing - that is why babies get given it.

What are you studying? Is the assignment going to keep you up very late?

Take care
Love

Good choice of food - weetabix is very nourishing. I have some every day when I get home from my long walk (6.3 miles).

3 weetabix, sweetener, 350 ml skimmed milk ===17.3g prot

I am pleased that you are feeling a bit better.

Next time you dont feel well - dont starve. Have something light - it really does help. Then eat a good healthy balanced diet spread out through the day.

You really dont want to starve yourself for the main of the day and then feel starving and eat at bedtime. That way of living doesnt actually encourage your body to lose weight. It doesnt know if there is a famine coming so it hangs on to the food as long as it can and wants to turn it into fat to see your through a bad time.

If you check my diary you will see that I have lots of little snacks that form a healthy balanced diet. I have a banana every day. It is light and something that you can have if you are not feeling well. As I said before I have weetabix every day too.

I hope that Tuesday works out well for you.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Often the hardest thing with exercise is getting started.

Once you start - you can feel good about yourself and think "I am being good today". That always makes you feel more motivated and generally better.

Do as I do. Put your pedometer on as you get dressed in the morning - and check it every now and again.

Take care
Love
