I've always had good luck with English weather. Back in '94 I got an awesome tan during the 2 months I spent in London. When people heard where I got it, they were surprised, and didn't believe me.

So you're woman of the house, eh? Does that mean you get to cook?

I see you're still watching Lost. Which season?

Horse riding certainly does count as exercise - I believe that it is very good for you. It is great that you are enjoying it.

It sounds like your family is keeping you pretty busy with all that cooking and cleaning. Will your mother be away for much longer. It is tough if you are working at the same time.

I hope that your cold gets better soon.

Make sure that you have a great birthday. You definitely need to celebrate your 21st.

Hey Margaret! i was thinking of you today. went to carsington waters (don't know if you heard of it) and did the 8mile circular. i was thinking you do more than that everyday and i was dead by the 3rd hour. took us about 3 and half hours. you must be really fit woman!

mums back sat morning but shes a bit tired etc so whe hasn't taken over fully adn after today i'm sure she won't be taking over any time soon. i'm not working full time just the odd days of supply so its not too bad. just need to figure out how to get my excercise in. my cold is all better now thanx...its just the hayfever now i think.

i'm not big on birthdays but i'll probably make it good. am working on tuesday so it'll have to be later in the week. to tell you the truth i really enjoyed today and my horse rididng...even that's worth it.

Sunday 13 July

calories = 1700-1800
water = 3 litres
excercise = 8mile walk

i am going to measure myself tomorrow and see if i have lost anything. i wont be surprised if i haven't since this hasn't been the best of weeks for me. today was really good. we just went out for a relaxing day to a reservoir and picnic area. while we were their we decided to go for a little walk which turned out to be 8miles and 3 and a half hours long with a few breaks . it felt amazing and it was scenic and the weatehr wasn't too hot or cold. i took loads of pictures. had to stop walking for them loads.the only bad thing is that i went with my flat shoes which aren't the best to walk in and i was in pain more or less all the way through. i came home and had a good soak and my feet feel a likle better now. i feel really good though. it is my first piece of decent excercise in about 2-3months. i'm sure i'll be stiff tomorrow. i can't wait though i love the feeling. hehe!

i should be off to bed now. i hope you all had a good sunday. x

Horseback riding--how fun! That is great exercise all over, ya know. It's really good for your thighs and strengthens your core.

Sorry your feet are sore from all that walking today. I wanted to bring some cool black shoes with me to London so I wouldn't look like such a tourist running about in my tennis shoes. But I realized that spending the week in blistered agony wouldn't be worth looking cool. haha I don't mean to imply that you were trying to be cool (you are cool no matter what your shoes look like), but that I'll bet next time you think you might be doing some serious walking you'll think to wear more comfortable shoes.

I'll keep my fingers crossed on the measurements.

Have a great week, Beautiful. Oh, yeah, that instructor that said you were pretty knows what they're talking about.

lol...i did wear the shoes to look cool. hehe. they are nice shoes. not anymore though. if i had known i was gonna be walking i definetly wouldn't have worn them. i am gonna buy good walking shoes as soonas i can because i think i'll be doing that walk again sometime soon and i really want to enjoy it next time not worry about my feet.

Sunday 13 July

calories = 1700-1800
water = 3 litres
excercise = 8mile walk/3.5 hours - for anyone who may be interested - Discover Derbyshire and the Peak District

Monday 14 July

calories 1400-1500
water = 3 litres
excercise = treadmill - 30mins/3.7km/2.3miles
waist = 77.5cm (-0.5cm)

a brilliant day today looking at that. i think lack of calories is mostly due to busy doing housework and watching LOST. i am halfway through the 3rd season and it just gets better and better.
just finished with the my walk/jog/run on the treadmill. it felt really good. i have missed excercising and feeling like i have worked out and the heart rate going up. it feels riiliant during and after. i need to work on my running though. i used to be better than what i've doen today so i think i'm going to look to improve that. hopefully be able to do double that in a few months time. heres wishing...
hope you all had a good day and have a good week.

That walk looks fantastic! I'd go with ya in a heartbeat if I was still over there. Those pics on the website made me sad that I'm not in the UK anymore.

Great job today! Exercising makes one feel so much better, imo.

Congrats on losing the 1/2 cm!

Lost is so good, I totally agree. Wait until you watch season 4.
