Rep Power: 83 | | Happy 21st Birthday!!!
Congratulations on the half centimeter reduction. That is great.
The place where you were walking looks really nice. You can take it from me that comfortable supportive footware is vital if you are going to go out walking.
I guess that I probably am fitter than people would imagine - but in reality anyone could do it. As our stamina builds up we can manage more and more without feeling that we are being all that stretched. We just get used to doing something if we do it every day.
You will be feeling the same if you go back to doing your exercise routine every day. After a little while it will be like you never stopped - even though we (reading your diary) may think "that sounds like a lot". |

Rep Power: 24 | | Hey Mal, Margaret, Kimberly, Tyly, brunettegoddess - thanx for your birthday wishes!!!! - i had a great one!! Bikinibound - maybe next time you come down wer can go for the walk. it is amazing! i want to go again. maybe this weekend coming up. will have to see. i can't wait for season 4 of LOST. its not out on dvd here yet but as soon as it is i'm watching it. and i did wake up this morning with lack of hangover and in my own bed so must have been one crappy birthday Daiseeangel - i LOVE lost. i used to hate excercise. i never thought i would actually miss it and come to even love it. but the feeling after is great adn during actually. its just getting enough motivation to start that lets me down. Brunettegoddess - it is so good to be back and finished with uni. it feels like an end of an era. no more studying but i am so excited about starting teaching and having my own class. Margaret - i really need to get some good walking shoes and a raincoat/mac or something. i think i'm planning on going on that walk more often whatever the weather so i need some protection hehe. i hope i can be as good as some of you lot one day. it will take time but i'll get there hopefully.
have a good day peeps x

Rep Power: 24 | | Sunday 13 July calories = 1700-1800
water = 3 litres
excercise = 8mile walk/3.5 hours
Monday 14 July calories 1400-1500
water = 3 litres
excercise = treadmill - 30mins/3.7km/2.3miles
waist = 77.5cm (-0.5cm) Tuesday 15 July calories = 1500-1600
water = 2500 ml
excercise = 75 mins walk
so for it being my birthday and all yesterday was brilliant. morning was mega busy. i was visiting my placement school for the year just gone and my school for next year and the morning disappeared on about 200 cals like that. got home at around 4ish. it was a good day so we took the George Foreman grill out and grilled some meat and had a mini barbecue style outside with close family and friends. it was healthy and tasted good! i love that grill. was supposed to do a half hour on the treadmill but instead went for a walk with one of my good friends who is also my cousin. it was good to catch up with her. she is also into walking and excercising so it was good fun. i am meeting up with some other friends tomorrow and friday so i will have a busy but good week. hope you all are having a good one. x

Rep Power: 83 | | | You have certainly been getting back into the swing of things with lots of water, grilled food and going on a walk. It sounds like your birthday was pretty enjoyable really. I would rather do what you did than a park bench fiasco as Kimberly described having heard of others doing. |

similar to yesterday only the walk took less time. it wasn't shorter...we were faster. it was a lot colder today than yesterday. i think that made us walk faster. need to go earlier in the day not in the late evening hehe. i am having a good week so far. the real test is tomorrow and friday when i get together with friends, some of who i haven't seen for 3 years and food is gonna be on the menu. have to pik carefully especially in starbucks where everything seems to have double the calories it should. it'll be good to see everyone again and see how they have changed since school. uni does change a person.

Rep Power: 89 | | So glad you had a happy and healthy birthday. At Starbucks if you stick to regular coffee with skim milk you should be fine. Also, they have their entire menu's nutritional info online, so you can check it out before you go so you'll know ahead of time what you'll have and how many cals it has. I think it's starbucks.com.
Have fun with your friends!
My birthday didn't suck b/c I didn't wake up in the scenario described. It sucked b/c I found out that night that the guy I had a serious crush on didn't return my feelings. Also, I had to drive (so I couldn't drink much) for reasons I can't remember--not b/c I had too much to drink. And then to top it off, one of my tires went flat..lol And it was cold and snowing heavily. That's why it sucked.
Your bday sounded like a lot of fun. |  | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
