Monday 6 October calories = 1500-1600
water = 2.5litres
excercise = none waist = 74cm
Tuesday 7 October calories = 1500-1600
water = 2 litres
excercise = none
i have a bad flu coming up so i am not going to waste my energy. i'm gonna give all my energy to getting better and then push myself in the exercise when the flu decides to leave me. also i think i need to lower my calories as well seeing as i've lost 10lbs in this range so far. maybe go down to 1500 now. hmmm. anyway hope everyone is well and having a good week. x

hey guys hope you all doing good. went horse riding again today after 2 months. it felt so good!! thats about the only excercise ive had this week apart from walking around the school while teaching and back home after. lol! my calories have been quite good aswell but im sure ill find out how good on monday when i weigh and measure myself. my cold is getting better but i still have a bad throaght in the mornings. hope you all are doing well and have a good weekend. x
not been bad so far. i weighed in at 153.8 today which is a new low for me and just under 11 stones for the UK ppl. i am well pleased. this is the lowest ive been since aout 7 years!!! i can't believe it. also lost 1/2 a cm of my waist. so now am at 73.5cms. haven't been excercising at all but 'm sure the job is doing all the hard work for me. i am trying to keep my calories low but i know i go over 1600 on days but i think i'm burning more than that a day anyway so its not too bad. as long as i carry on losing the weigh its cool. something i do have to start workingon is drinking more water. i haven't been drinking enuff mostly because i think the weathers getting cooler and also i just forget while im teaching. anyway hope you all doing good and having a good week. x
Hey all. I'm back! Agen lol! thort i'd drop in for an update. Got Christmas holidays so got a bit of time. Anyway. waist down to 71cm as of yesterday which is 28inches! so only 3 more inches to go now. weight down to 148.4 as of today. woohoo! finally in the 140s. can't believe it. so got about 9lbs to go till my goal weight. i have lost an inch in about 2months and about 5lbs so its not all bad but mayb i need to up my game a bit lol. and get rid of these last 10 a bit quicker. no rush i suppose though. i have found myself comfortable and happy with the way i look and am for a few months no and i think that's why i have stopped making losing weight my priority. anyway still carrying on. just got a bit more to lose lol and i don't think i mind how long it takes me. Hope you all had a christmas and having a good time. take care. x
another month and my weight is down to 146.6lb and waist is down to 69.5cm. i have got to the stage now where other people are telling me enuff is enuff and not to lose any more. atleast half more stone needs to be lost thou i think. hope you are all doing well. m off to work. take care. x

It was so nice to read your post filled with good news. Usually when someone's been gone from the forum for awhile they come back with news of being frustrated for being off the wagon and gaining weight back. You did the opposite.
Hey Margeret! seems like ages. i'm good. just checking where i left. so much has changed...not weightwise though, although i did have a nice new low of 143 a few weeks ago. am back up at 148 now but it will be gone soon hopefully

I hope i don't ever gain the weight i've lost. i feel so good now. i do fluctuate but my size is at a steady uk. 8/10 us 4/6 which i am happy with for my figure and build. congrats on your daughter by the way. don't fink i've said it before. last i talked to you you were trying!!!!
Congratulations on bringing your weight down so nicely and keeping it there (or thereabouts - even in maintenance - we all wiggle around a bit). That is a tiny waist size that you have. I am sure that you should consider yourself to be at goal when you are size 8 to 10. That is my size and I know that I would look too skinny if I was any thinner.

I have never done a before and after thread and finally got around to doing it on another diet forum where I tend to be more active these days.
The good thing about that forum is that they take maintenance just as seriously as weight loss - so there are things like a section on maintenance where we pool all sorts of information in an attempt to beat the odds of regain... Also - we can still join in most of the challenges... I am currently planning a really cool challenge there in December with maintenance points available as well as weight loss points so we can all still join in the fun...
Most people reckon that their December has gone pretty well if they maintain for December - so there may be a few people joining the challenge as maintainers that still have a bit to go to goal!
