basically i am editing this today(27 dec 07) because i did not have an introduction to my diary at all. so here goes.
start date - 29 nov 07
age - 20
height - 5' 5''
weight - 169lb (goal = 150)
bust = 40.9inch/104 cm (goal = 33.1 inch/84cm)
waist = 34.3 inch/87 cm (goal = 25.2 inch/64cm)
hips = 42.5 inch/ 108 cm (goal = 35 inch/ 89 cm)
thats all i can think off. any questions just ask!!! ;-)
So here goes:
Day 1 - so far so good. i'm half way through the day without any hiccups which is always good. Starting at 164 pounds. need to get down to 154 before new year hopefully. that is my goal. we'll c. so i need lots of ideas and motivation. feel free to comment.

To get a WL ticker, go back to the main page under GENERAL forum, and right near the top is one for NEWBIES (can't recall if that is the title, but close). I have found, with the ticker, that I must make a new one each time I reach a new weight; for some reason, mine doesn't let me edit. But it is really simple (just remember it is the BBC code you need to copy!) & only takes a minute or so.
update so far...well i did get dwn to doin bout half an hour ov cardio yesterday.proud ov myself lol!
DAY 2 - Yoohoo lost 2 pounds in a day. biggest boost i could have gotten. bring on december m ready 2 lose da rest!!!
I'm feeling ok. a bit lazy. don't wanna do any excersice. i have done 2 15mins f fast walking so thats something. but i do think i'm gonna have to do better dan that if i wanna lose all this FAT! myt do a bit of a gymball workout rather than cardio 2day.if i can get that ball inflated.
hmm...dats bout it i fink soo far. I've quit chocolate and crisps this week. Aynt had any so far. dats a plus. I had pasta 2day and yesterday. is dat ok?hmm? i dunno nemor!
another update coming later 2nyt or 2moro. Watch dis space. lol
DAY 2 - ryt so got down 2 doin sum excercise 2day. did 15 mins on gmball...which i coudn't do!!!! i fink i need a beginners workout on da gymball....any ideas??
den i gave up and did sum free weights which wos ok.
AAARGHHHH!!!! its sooo annoyin! i jus ate lyk a mcflurry and a hundred biscuits!!!

well i've lost half a pound overnight. how i don't know lookin at hw much i ate yday. I fink i need to start weighing myself once or twice a week rather than 100 times a day. so i'm going to weigh myself every monday from now on. first weigh in on the 3rd and m gonna start the 2pounds a week december challenge from then on.
DAY 3- so far so good!!! i havn't had any 'naughty' foods today soo far. i have had
breakfast = 2 brown toasts
snack = banana and orange
lunch = soup and baguette(brown again)
m also tryin to have 3 litres of water a day!!! had 2 litres soo far.
I think i've had alot of bread though. hmmm
excersice today - 7 1/2 mins bike, 7 1/2 mins crosstrainer, 15 mins treadmill + 100 situps
well dats enough excersice for me today. actually might do somehts later on. will update diary tonight. probably have some weetabix before going to bed aswell
QUESTION - should i be counting calories for fruit??? because don't exactly put on weight with fruitand veg do you?? hmm
If you do not like exercise but like walking - it is perfectly possible to lose weight with walking as the only or main exercise.
I walk a lot - but lost a lot of weight when I was doing no other exercise.
You can weigh as often or as rarely as you like. Everyone can judge best what is right for them. Many people say that you should only weigh once a week - but I would be very unhappy if I had to do that. I am much happier weighing every day. We are all different.
You ask about counting calories for fruit. Really I suppose it depends on how strictly you want to count calories. I dont count calories at all. I am however calorie aware and certainly try to avoid foods that I know are high calorie.
Some fruits are fairly high in calories - e.g. banana, avacado - so I suppose if you didnt count them and really liked some high calorie fruit you could be eating more calories than you thought.
I personally prefer to try and go for a diet that I believe is balanced and moderate.
There are lots of sticky threads about the place on things like calories and nutrition. A lot of people set up fitday accounts for counting calories.

Lol!! i couldn't help myself. I got up this morning and weighed myself about 10 times. Well i think i can safely say i lost another pound wooohooo!!!!
I don't count calories either. ca't seem to get into the habit of it and like Dad said yesterday 'eat however much you want to kill your hunger but eat healthily' so that's my rule now.
I am using the pedometer today. i keep checking that it is working. It is amazing how many steps you do in soo little time. I LOVE IT!!!
So i thort i'll update now just incase i get lazy later on!

DAY 4 - 2nd dec 07 - So far so gud! Daddy bought alot of fruit (bless) and Mum cuked a gud healthy balanced meal for lunch (again bless)!! Hope i don't let them down this time and make sure i reach my goal.
I havn't had anything 'naughty' today yet. like i said trying to just eat healthily whenever i get hungry. I'm going to visit a mate later today so have to fit some excercise in before then!!!
MY foo diary today
brekkie - 2 brown toast
snack - an apple (which tasted amazing)
lunch - a huge balanced meal (very healthy though) - meat, soup, salad...
thats about it so far i might walk to friends rather than take the car. will c how i feel after the excercise.
PLUS - i feel so energetic and amazing today. it is unbelievable. i always blamed my lethargicness on anemia. i fink it wos the eating habits. LMAO!
I'm back. just thort i'd update before i went to sleep. Didn't end up going to mates place so no walking :-(. neva mind.
DAY 4 - 2nd dec 07 (update)
since lunch ave had loads to eat but hoping MOST falls under healthy choice.
snacks - cereal bar (60 cals), nut mix (another thing dad bought), 3 lemon biscuits (yummy and naughty) but only bout 100 cals. A GOOD BALANCED DIET i say.
Dinner - weetabix. got late couldn't be bothered to eat but was starving lol.
Excercise - 15 mins waist workout, 15 mins weights, 100 situps.
woohoo another day over. Big weigh in day tomorrow and the beginning of the 8lb december challenge. not feeling very confident after today (wish me luck)....

beeen having green tea now. hope it clears the bloatedness!!!
no excercise today. i just havn't got the energy and don't want to push myself too much and hurt myself. will get back to it tomorrow depending on how i feel.
Day 5 is horrible. :-(
