You can believe the hype Chip, but use it as inspiration to continue. Just because your looking good doesnt mean you cant look better!

Here's the thing - you look good! - But you can look better!
I can't believe you can run so much - you are awesome! I wish I could do that.. I'm trying - I guess I really only started a while ago but when I run I can only run for like 5 mintues straight without having to turn down my treadmill speed. I wish I could run outside but it's cold and icy so I don't want to end up on me butt. Did you weight yourself yet? I'm excited - I want to see what kind of progress you've done! Cheers!

My 2 Week Diet Plan started 200 days ago. Hard to believe. The ultimate goal for my 2 week diet plan was to lose weight. But I had a lot of things I needed to change in my life. It all started 08/13/06. I believe God gave me a gift, that was is my 2 week diet plan. I have to give God the credit, because that is where I believe it came from. Anyway it came like a bolt of lighting I had to change my life & how to do it. Since I had to change my life. I had to tackle problem areas & take the first one & cut it out of my life for 2 weeks. I started on Monday 08/15/05. The two biggest problems were 1. I had at least a 12 pack of Diet Soda a day. 2. Sugar & lots of it. Between sugar & Diet soda; Diet soda would be harder to give up. So that is what I did. It was very very very very hard. I can not possibly tell you. I made the 2 weeks. After that I had to decide if I could go back to drinking Diet Soda, maybe one or two a day. I did not feel I was ready. So I still did not have any diet soda. It was now time 2 change something else. I'm sure you can guess, sugar out of my diet. Whats neat once I started not having sugar, soda was no longer a problem. After the 2 weeks of sugar, I did not feel I was ready to have any so I continued not to have any sugar. Now it was time to add something else. Well I tended to feast after dinner so I gave up eating anything after dinner. Since my focus was on something else, I no longer thought of the soda or sugar. The first or second week of not eating after dinner (on a wed.). I went into Wal-Mart to buy a shirt that would fit. I did not have that many things that fit. I said what are you doing. You have done all of these really hard, very very very, hard things all I have to do now is count my calories and the pounds will come off. The next day (09/29/06) I started losing weight. This is way to long so I will get into more details the rest of the week.

If you give it a try remember 2 weeks. If you have the item your giving up one time you start your 2 weeks again.
If you give it a try you have to give up something that is huge for you!!!!

This is about a life time change.

I still have not had soda. Right now I don't know if I ever will. I might don't know.
I do have sugar now. Last week I had 2 chocolates out of a box of chocolate. The week before I had a Hershey kiss. Sometimes I will have more, I'm just in control.
I eat after dinner now. Only if its planned, & in my calories for the day.

Some ideas of things you can change.
sugar, coffee, drugs, smoking, not exersing, ETC....

JUST DO IT BIG!!!!!

Chip
Wow! Totally inspiring... keep up the great work.

You are such an awesome person. I read your journal everyday and it keeps me saying to myself...I can do that! You are a real motivator. If I am ever feeling like I am doing bad or slacking off, I read your journal and I say to myself: "That just put me back on track!" Thanks so much for that...you are doing such an awesome job!!! I also really like your two week thing. Im going to have to try that! I bought a pass yesterday to the YMCA and I think Im going to do the two week thing with it. Thanks for the great inspiring ideas!

I have to agree with Sara, you're really inspiring to all of us. Don't let people stop you while you're exercising to tell you how great you look, take the compliment, of course you deserve it, but keep on going, they'll see it's from hard work & you'll remember that you got where you are from your long term dedication & very hard work! Congratulations, you ARE great, and you CAN do even better!

Thanks, Guys. You know how it is, you want more & you want to have lost all of your weight yesterday.

Doing good, have been within my calories. Took a day off yesterday from running. All ready did my 4 mile run today. We had a little bit of snow, so its the first time I've run in snow. My feet are cold right now. I have to cool down before I jump in the shower.

My wife is very funny, last night she said what are you going to have for dinner. I said some chicken & brown rice. It was late for dinner (9:00 ) & I was really hungry so I wanted a little something. My wife was upset set with me. Not that I was eating, it was I was just having a little bite. She wanted to indulge a bit. It goes back to what I have said know one really cares what you eat. If they are not happy its because you make them feel guilty.

I even believe in having junk food in the house to eat. This is real life & I better know how to live in it. I have learned to eat right. If I going to over do it, I go out to eat.

Chip
