Question Back to Health

redneckwoman66, Thanks for posting. You made me get off my behind & get back to work. I will weigh in on Monday 5/22/06.

I can finally relate to people that have to work hard all day & then go out & exercise. The last couple of week I have been getting my house ready to sell. So every minute I have been working on it. I just could not get out & do my exercise or eat right. Great excuse (not). I do understand how hard it is for people to get out when they are exhausted from their day of work. I usually do no manual labor. I should be done with the house by Sunday night.

We did put it up for sale today.

Great news I got my laptop computer back yesterday (only $140.00), so now I can be on the computer whenever I want. I guess I have never learned to share.

Chip

I'll just post what I did bad today. Did not run. Ate 2 mounds bars, 2 heath bars, & 4 cookies. The only reason I post the bad is that I know myself & I can only go a few days 0f actually seeing these things in writing before I get back on tract. I'll weigh myself on monday. maybe

weigh in

Well I did I weighed in 243 Lbs. That means in 13 days I gained 11.50 Lbs. not good at all. When you eat everything but the kitchen sink, what do you expect.

This is something I really have to work on. When I'm not eating to lose weight I must get to the point where I do not gain weight. I have to learn to do this or I will gain all the weight back I lose.

I have the same problem Chip. The last 7 days Ive just totally failed and gained 8 lbs in 7 days. Vacations just kick my butt. Ive been trying to break 200 and been very close for over a month now but cant seem to find the umph to do it. Every time I do good, I get down to close to 200, then some event happens and I eat....then I eat for a few days making up for all I didn't eat before and then some. We need to find a way to conquer this problem!

Thumbs up Finished Day 1

I finished day one again. Did great even though it was tough. At one point today I wanted to go to the store & get some candy SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some how I didn't & I don't know how. My wife did not help at breakfast when she said that I could not cook on the stove. I was going to have an egg on toast. The reason I can't use the stove is its clean & were selling our home. But guess who cleaned the stove in the first place. ME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Women drive you nuts sometimes. Well maybe all the time. Not really all the time..

Thumbs up Finished Day 2

Finished day 2 & did good stayed under my calories around 1,200. I know it gets easier, but I want it easier NOW. I only had about a 2 hour bad period, where I wanted to go get 3 Mounds bars & a big huge Hershey bar (one of the really big ones) with almonds. I made it though.

Then I missed lunch because I got a call & I had to go show homes (that is a good thing, it has been slow.) But I really missed my lunch.

Weigh in 239.50 Lbs.
Weight loss for day 3.50 Lbs. Yes I know its water loss.

4 mile jog around 54 Mins.
Yesterday around 1 Hr. 1 Min.

Thumbs up Day 3 Finished

I made it my third day without sugar. Stayed within my calories around 1800. I feal a little better today. Only thought of my candy bars & ice cream when I went to the store. They have the big giant cand bars on sale for $1.00, so tempting. Why when ever your getting back on track or starting a diet they will have great sales. It seems everytime I start a diet McDonalds puts their Big Mac on sale for a a dollar.

Weigh in 236.00 Lbs.
Weight loss for day 3.50 Lbs. Yes I know its still water loss. I would
not be surpised if I have a weight gain
tommorow.

Jog 6.2 miles - 1:23:50 Thats a long way for me right now.

Hey Chip, your doing great. It seems that candy bars are what you have the hardest time with. I here you about the big mac thing. In Utah they have big mac Mondays all the time. $1 on Monday. At least they used to. They were a big downfall for me. back to the candy though. What I find helps me to fight temptation with candy is to have some in my house that I wont touch. That way when I'm running about and find a good deal or someone offers me some, I can resist because I'm not passing up on something I cant get any time at my house. I know its weird but it seems to work for me.

And though you are losing a lot of water weight, you are losing real weight as well. For me, water weight accounts for about 8 lbs. Your probably similar.

Keep up the good work!

My Best Day

Had a good day, did not suffer with thinking about eating candy. Stayed within my calories. My best day in my 4 days of being back on track.

Weigh in 236.00 Lbs.
Weight loss for day 0.00 Lbs. Yes I know its still water loss.
tomorrow.

Jog 4.24 miles - 1:04:58 Thats a long way at 6:30 AM when you should be sleeping. Only two reasons to get up at 6:30 AM, go to work or fishing.

Chip
