Rep Power: 22 | | | Took Last Week Off M2M, I took last week off & had every intention of getting back on track today. But woke up sick, just a cold. But I'm a baby what can I say. So I'm hoping Friday I will be doing a lot better. I gained 5 or 6 Lbs this week.

I did eat to much today around 2,500 Calories. Still no running do to my cold. I hope by Monday I can be back on the roads of Lancaster again.

Rep Power: 22 | | One Year Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I posted yesterday, I wonder what happened to it. Basically what I said was I was sick last week.
One year ago today I decided to change my life. That is when I created my diet, the two week diet plan. It has been one year ago  I gave up Diet Soda & I have had none for one whole year  . I don't no if I will ever have any soda again. The reason I say that is I gave up sugar also. I decided that I could go back to having it again. I could not, I went totally out of control. I have gone off sugar again, I think it has been like 12 weeks or something like that I would have to look. I'm thrilled where I have come from & looking forward to the rest of the journey.
Back to the soda I was having a min. of 12 diet sodas a day. I'll put it this way if people would have made a bet that I would give up soda. Not one person that knows me would take that bet. If you gave them 100 to 1 odds, and they had to put up $100.00 to get $10,000.00 no one would take that bet. Diet soda was the only thing I ever drank, for maybe 20 years.

I only have a diet version if i absolutly must when out socializing (people drink and ive long since stopped trying to explain that im not drinking so a cup of diet coke makes people generally assume its has rum or something in it ).
Congrats on your massive weightloss. feels great huh?
Im finally at the stage where people are taking a second look and saying 'have you lost weight?' - i mean HELLO! i swear they didnt make comments earlier just in case i wasnt and it was insulting |

you made the comment earlier that you love to eat. even though I may not have as much weight to loose at many people, I must say also that I absolutely LOVE to eat too. My husband and I are complete opposites. He eats to live, and I live to eat. I also wonder what next event is coming up that will involve some good food.
I have had to work really hard to retrain my thinking, and tell myself that it doesn't take all that food for me to survive. Maybe that will help you also in your weight loss journey. Like right now, I could eat a large burger and fries, and a coke...however, it's 11 pm and I know that wouldn't be good, and I don't need it for survival. it would just give me good pleasure.

wishes, Don't get me wrong I don't think anything is wrong to eat or drink. I just am going to keep those things out of my life until I can have them in moderation. I know what you mean about people not saying anything about you losing weight. Then all of a sudden thats all anyone says.
Anyway I have stayed within my calories today (oh happy days are here again). It seems like a long time since I have done that. I did my running today. I did 5 miles which I found out was to many miles since getting well. Or at least a lot better. Since I have been in a rut for ever, of usually doing 4 miles. At least for the next couple of weeks I'm going to run 3 miles or under. Or 5 miles or over. And at the shorter distances run faster. I know that is the way to improve my fitness level.

I try and up my level once a week. If i cant up my level once a week then im not going hard enough.
If im not sure at least 3 days of the week then i havnt pushed myself.
On the good side I had a big muscly guy spotting me on the bench press today and I couldnt get the last rep up again and he had to grab it. Anyway the dude had to strain something terrible to lift it hehe. |

Did not run today, I was going to but, I don't feel like I recovered from yesterday. When ever I make a decision like that in the back of my mind I wonder if it is an excuse.
I did walk 1.5 miles today door knocking. So maybe that counts for some exercise.

Rep Power: 22 | | Yesterday was a good day except I went over my calories by 500 (2,500). Did my run 5 miles. My leg really hurt yesterday. I did not actually think I would go very far on my run, but once I strated my leg felt ok. The same thing today, with my 3 mile run. Today when I was running about 50 yards in front of me a young man came out of a neighborhood in front of me running. You know how competion is I was going to try to keep up with him and I did for 1/4 of a mile. I thought that was pretty good.
