I have had another two good days. That makes six in a row. Tomorrow will make a week.

Last night my son had a bunch of friends over, so we had pizza, & it was soooooooo good. I only had two pieces & I'm very proud of myself for that.

Today I had Ice Cream (planned). In the past when I have been dieting I have given up sugar. The problem is when I had sugar again I would go off the deep end & eat any sugar I could get my hands on. Since I don't want to give up sugar forever, I'm going to learn to eat it in moderation.

I did my exercise the last two days 4 miles each day. I wonder what people thank when they see me out when its so cold & I'm wearing shorts.

Just Saw Rocky

Just got in from seeing the movie Rocky. If you have liked the Rocky movies, it is a must see. I really loved it. I saw the first Rocky with my girl friend (who is now my wife). On Valentines day 1977. My wife told me what it was about before we saw it. I was very confused, at the beginning of the movie. It had nothing to do with what my wife told me it was about. We have always been fans, & we always think about the first time we saw Rocky.

Blah Blah Blah that means to much writing

I can't believe its been since Dec. 20 Th. that I posted on my diary. I have been around doing pretty good. Really excited about tomorrow, my wife is starting her diet again with me. It makes it much easier when we work together. Even though she whines a lot.

I'm not so excited about starting my walking again tomorrow. Its been since around the middle of Dec. since I've done any walking. I feel better when I'm exercising, yet it's so much easier not to exercise. I feel better when I'm eating right, yet it's so much easier to eat what I want. Makes no since. I wonder if I'm the only one like this.

Seeing my kids at Christmas was not good for me. They are both gaining a lot of weight. I have set such a bad example, in the health department. It was not easy but I did talk to them about it.

Hey Chip, welcome back. Good for you for talking to your kids...I'm so glad I decided to do this now, before my kids got too old. My 4 year old is already talking about healthy snacks and stuff. It's awesome!

Awwww try not to beat yourself up I am noticing my oldest daughter
she's "8"eating very unhealthy to the point where she sneaks junk food
among other things so I am not buying anymore junk maybe every other
weekend I will tret them to something but it has gotten out of hand.
Sometimes they have our genes and thats already a negative and then
it's up to us to try to make the healthier foods for them I have been buying
those 100 cals packs for snacks for them.

Anyway your doing great and you are so determined and your kids see that
and will learn from you! Have a gr8 day,Tammy

Had a good day, it is easier doing this with my wife. She even had the nerve to throw out my hidden stach of ice cream. Sometimes she is so mean. I did get back to my exercise did 4.1 miles. Very slow around
1 Hr. 15 Mins.

Man I'm hungry, I know I was not trying that hard but, I guess I must say I have been really slacking. Since I have to answer to my wife, I have to really eat good, or answer for it. And vice versa for my wife. Actually I'm very happy about it. I did sit-ups today, I have not done that in a long, long time.

4.2 Miles / 1:15:47 / 4:00 PM Very Nice Day

Sit-ups - 5 Crunches 2 Full Sit-ups

Don't laugh, it was not easy to do what I did.

Yesterday & today have been very good days. Stayed within my calories yesterday & today. Did my 4 mile walk both days.

Sad to say my daughter is mad at me for talking to her about her weight. I'm happy I did talk to her. Yet it makes me sad she did not take it to heart. I did do it in a nice & loving way.
My son on the other hand has taken it to heart & has lost 5 Lbs. in the last two weeks.

4.3 Miles / 1:17:10 / 6:00 PM Very Windy & Very Cold

Sit-ups - Crunches - 6 / Full Sit-ups - 4
