Healthy Start to a New Year

Hi, my name is Samantha and I'm not significantly overweight, I just want to attempt a healthier lifestyle for better living. I'm hoping to find support and get some of my questions answered. But with the new year here I just want to be in shape and healthy because lately I have been stressed and have had careless eating and exercising habits. I hope to lose 10 or 15 pounds in the next 6 or 8 months. Its not a giant goal, just a small reachable one that I am confident I can do. So good luck to me and any one else out there trying. I will post daily, or as frequently as possible what I eat that day, what i have done for exercise, and my moods and activites. Hopefull this will give me a detailed insight to my own life and help me slowly change for the better.

Well it's the end of Day 1 and I haven't made many changes. I did eat a somewhat healthy breakfast and drank more water. I also took my dog on a longer walk. Not significant changes, but I have read that it is better to change your life one small step at a time. Hopefully I will make a couple more steps soon. I'll try not to let this discourage me. Thanks for the support! I really appreciate it.
