Yes, my H was heartbroken about the Cowboys. I felt sorry for him, he looked so down for a second there having thought they were going to the Superbowl 4 sho. His dad died when he was young and they were his dad's favorite team, so the CB mean a lot to him. Meanwhile I could care less ha ha.
Yeah I live in Indy and before we got the Colts in 1984, I was a cowboys fan. I understand and share his pain.
Yesterday was a pretty good day.
Breakfast - Had a dentist appointment and I was not supposed to eat anything before my appointment at 8AM.
Lunch - Salad with Fat free Rasp. Vinagrette, 8 oz of baked chix breast, water to drink
Dinner - Salmon Filet, Celery Stick with a tbl spn of peanut butter on it and 2 boiled eggs. I know a strange dinner but the salmon was left over from a couple of nights ago and I had a craving for the celery and eggs. Go Figure. 8oz skim milk to drink with it.
Snacks - 2 sugar free jello cups and a peanut butter cup (ouch my will power broke down)
Beverages - I did not do good on my water intake today. Only 1 - 1 liter bottle besides what I had with my meals. I need to get it up to 3 - 1liter bottles a day I feel.
Exercise - Walking for 30 minutes on the tread mill
I weighed in this morning and I was up .6 of a pound. Today will rock because I am going to start increasing my walking by 5 minutes until I am up to an hour. I know this might take me a bit to where I am at a good pace but I would say by next month at this time I will be walking a full hour a day on the tread mill.
Wow you are really motivated and are doing a great job with your foods!
Im having one of those days and reading some of these diaries gets me back in the game!
BTW: Im sorry to about the Colts losing, they are my second favorite team! Im in Dallas so the Cowboys are My fav! I was hoping even if we went out I would have the Colts to look forward to!
Oh well, Let's go Packers! LOL
No biggie on the Colts! Once Football season is over it will give me more time to walk on the treadmill!!
On the motivation of the forums. OMG they are great to start my day reading updates and writing in my diary once I weigh in everyday and go over what i consumed the day before. I love it!
I just got out of our neighbors hot tub. It does wonders for my legs after starting my treadmill routine.
Breakfast - forgot - was running late (oops)
Lunch - baked chix breast skinless, steamed brocolli, small salad, water
Dinner - 7oz of baked chix breast, green beans, milk
Snacks - 3 sugar free jello cups
Beverages - 2 - 1liter bottles of water
Down another pound - total loss 18 lbs
I have picked out some clothes to be my short term goal clothes. I have some before pics I will post later.
Today will be a good day!!
Breakfast - 3 hard boiled eggs, 3 slices of canadian bacon
Lunch - cup of ground beef with taco spice, cup of cauliflower, 5 tortilla chips
Dinner - celery sticks wrpped in deli sliced 97% fat free turkey breast, 8oz of skim milk. Dinner was on the run, boiled egg.
Snack - Low fat Skim motz cheese stick
Water - 2.6 liters of the Sams Choice flavored sparkling water. I do have to suggest, if you do not like water it is awesome. They have many flavors to choose from and it tastes great. They sell this at walmart also.
Dinner was not what I planned so I had to grab something fast and had to head out the door. At least I chose something healthy because previously I would have stopped at McDonalds or Taco Bell to grab something fast.
Its really wild. Every morning when I go through my head and enter into my diary it does not seem like alot of food. The good thing is I am never finding myself hungry.
I weighed this morning and I am down another pound! Woo Hoo!!! 19 Pounds total!!! I am currently at 336 lbs. My short term goal is to get to 330lbs, that would get me to the 25lb mark.
Today will be a great day. 2008 is gong to be great!!

Breakfast - 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 slices of canadian bacon, 1 liter of water
Lunch - 2 4 oz ground beef patties with mustard. salad with fat free raspberry vinagrette dressing
Dinner - low fat motz cheese stick, 1 cup of peas, 2 slices of 97% fat free ham and a sugar free jello cup.
Snacks - 2 - sugar free jello cups, and a fat free skim milk motz cheese stick.
Beverages - 1.5 liters of water besides the liter I drank at breakfast so I was at 2.5 liters. My goal is still to get the 3 liters of water per day. Not quit getting there yet but still concious of my water goal. It has been 15 days since I have had any type of soda regular or diet. I just decided when I made my change that the sodas were not an option in my everyday routine.
My cravings for bad foods have really stopped happening. Plus I notice I am not eating as much as I was in the beginning of my change and I am not getting hungry.
I weighed in this morning and I actually dropped another pound so I hit the 20 lb mark in loss. I am now down to 335. Woo Hoo
I measured myself last Saturday eventhough I still have not posted the measurement but tomorrow I will measure again since it has been a week. This is something that I will do every saturday. I will hopefully get to post my original measurments along with the results of my second measure tomorrow. Plus I might add some before pics. We will see.
Today is a great day!
Thanks Trevor! Yes I am doing South Beach and so far it has been incredible. My 2 week phase 1 will be up on Sunday but I think I am going to keep up with phase 1 for a little bit longer. I really feel like it is working for me and the food selection is stuff that I like so why end a good thing. I know eventually I will want a different selection of food and thats when I will start phase 2 were they start adding some food items back to meals that you do not have in phase 1.
The Cowboys *sigh*....I think keeping Jason Garrett is a good thing. I honestly do not know how long Phillips will last. I honestly feel he was a stop gap until Garrett was ready any ways. We will see.
Thanks for the kind words. This has been an incredible lifestyle change so far!
Today is a great day!
Ok so here we go! I am starting my 3rd full week into this journey.
Just to recap progress so far.

1/13 - 1/19/2008 - 12 pounds loss

Yesterday was a great day!
Breakfast - 3 eggs over hard, 2 slices of candian bacon, 2 slices pork bacon, medium tomatoe sliced, 12 oz of water.
Lunch - sirloin beef tips flavored with pepper, salad with fat free rasp vinagrette, 12 oz glass of skim milk
Dinner - left over chicken breast, low fat skim motz stick, green beans
Snacks - 1 sugar free jello cup
Beverages - 2 - 1 liter bottles of water through out the day.
Got on the scale this morning and I was down an amazing 3 pounds. I know this sounds strange but it seems I drop more on the weekend days than during the week. Can not explain it but who cares, as long as the weight is falling off.
I just want to thank everyone for everyones compliments and good thoghts during this journey so far. Keep them coming!!
