Rep Power: 12 | | I went for C25K session to. I feel pretty darn good. I've been sore for the past two days (I feel pretty wimpy about that!) but when I got going on session two I felt fine. Sure now that I've cooled off a bit the achy-ness has crept back. Going back down the stairs to my basement suite seemed a bit daunting. I feel a bit like the tin-man begging Dorothy to oil my joints. Errr, seeing how I mentioned the gay bar story, I better clarify things... no the Dorothy/tin-man thing is not some kinky euphemism! I'm gonna keep going with the C25K. My body is going to have to deal with it. I'm gonna do a whole lotta stretching to see if I can minify things, though. I was a bit worried about my back during the first session, because I was feeling some of the ol' painful twinges from the car accident. Today, however, I had notta one! I feel relieved. *sigh* I'll need to up the back and TA exercises to keep the strength up.
I'm loving the new park I found. Its wonderful being outside when it seems like spring is around the corner. It was a little "rainy" but not "raining" so it was refreshing. My folks back home will kill me if I mention spring. Thery're still under a thick layer of snow with sub-zero weather. Sucks to be them! I feel completely justified in saying that because I lived there for 26 years! |

And I bet I could do it if my computer had Paint! I have a Mac, so I don't know how to do it with that. I'm not as familiar with those programs.
Please forgive me! |

Rep Power: 12 | | | There's actually a free image viewing program called Irfanview that allows you to create panorama (side-by-side) images with very few clicks.

Rep Power: 79 | | yeah but who wants to download something and piss about trying to get images the right size etc.
Made it, it resizes the images so they are fairly close in size and also uploadable to a forum size, merges them side by side. Merge your images (before/after photos)
But because it puts a crapload of stress on the webserver, dont be handing that out willy nilly eh - only WLF users |

Rep Power: 12 | | So one thing that losing weight had taught me...math can be fun sometimes:
I have a bathtub/shower that has clear glass doors. My favorite pastime while I am in the shower (no, not that pastime...get your mind outta the gutter ) is using the fogged glass like a chalkboard. I get to figure out how much weight I have to lose and when I'll reach my goal if I lose it at different rates. Its actually been great at reassessing my goals when I hit a low point. By the fourth day in a row that I add up the same figures, I feel that the postponed goal date is isn't as disappointing as I thought. Its very reassuring... though its very obsessive.
Hear are today's calculations. I've never looked at these numbers this way before:
My wedding is early July 2009... 16 months away.
If I lose two pounds a week until then that would be 128lbs.
If I lose one pound a week until then that would be 64lbs.
If I lose a half a pound a week then that would be 32lbs.
So what does that mean???!!!!
1) I'm ridiculously obsessive.
2) That all of these all of these amounts are way too many pounds for me to lose.
Most importantly:
3)THERE'S NO FRIGGIN' WAY I WILL NOT HIT MY GOAL BY THE WEDDING!!!!
More realistically: I am almost positive that I'll hit my goal weight this summer even if I have some rough patches to work through!
