It's kinda funny that I have started this journal....I always figured I could do it "on my own" ya know. Maybe in another life, but certainly not this one.
I have somewhat recently signed up at my local
gym and so far LOVE IT! The people there are just awesome and have a sincere way of caring for everyone. -So it seems anyway.
I hired a personal trainer named Wendy. She is so TOUGH, but just what I need. She's a sweet woman with all her priorities together. She swears I can lose this extra weight, so I'm doing everything she says. Liking it or not.
Right now my schedule is Monday thru Friday 30 minutes on the eliptical and 30 minutes on the
treadmill.
I used to run alot and love it so I don't mind the
treadmill at all. I can easily do 2 miles as of right now. It's kind of a "let it all out" type of a thing. That has always worked for me.
I slacked off a little over 2 years ago thinking I'd never gain an ounce and here I am......30
pounds overweight. Reality sucks doesn't it? Those ounces turned into one big ass slap in the face.
So.... here's to a new start. *drinks on me* ..... A new beginning for me. For everyone. I wish everyone here nothing but the very best. We can do it, it's just putting one foot in front of the other and no looking back.
