Rep Power: 7 | | | Workout Tips? Ok, I'm looking at my measurements and I don't understand why my clothing is a 32 and my inches are 42? Did I do something wrong?! ... might remeasure.
Okie doke today is the day to start setting myself some serious goals! I've started feeling completely down about my weight and have really been lazy with my exercise so I'm going to set myself personal goals for each day.
We've just gotten an eliptical and that thing KILLS me. So I'm setting myself a goal of being on the eliptical for 10 mins everyday. I want to fast pace walk/nearly jog for at least 2 miles a day, and then I need something to do with my arms now. I have 5 lb weights but I have no idea about reps and what's the best things to do to work out the whole arm so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Also I really don't know if this is enough/too much/ needs to be altered in any way. So feel free to let the suggestions roll! |

Rep Power: 7 | | | I can feel the burn! Well I am beat!
Today was the day I changed everything. I ate correctly, I kept up with what I ate, and I exercised. I'm really quite excited about it all because honestly I was just plain tired tonight, then I decided exercise isn't going to be an option for when it's convenient. No, it's manditory if I plan to get in shape and be healthy.
I also started a FitDay journal thing, but I'm still learning how to use that thing. A lot of the foods I've eaten today weren't available in the lists.
Intake: 1,302 cals 25 Fat 192 carb 78 protein
Outtake: 10 mins on elliptical + leslie sansone's 4 fast miles DVD + 50 jumping jacks + 50 bicep curls each.
this all took me about 1 hr and 15 mins... Let me tell you I was SO happy to get into the shower, and I'm sure my family was happy I did too!
The progress will be slow, but at least it's progress. |

whew, the chart made me feel better lol says if I'm wearing a 12 US = 42 Europe so that makes sense. I just had assumed the 32/34 sizes here in the US meant that those were the amt of inches long/round a person was.
I'm bookmarking that site, thanks! |

Rep Power: 7 | | I'm very pleased to announce that the new eating habits are working!! I weighed both yesterday and today and the scale said 166lbs! So, that means after a month of not losing anything, I added 400cals to my diet and bam, down 2 lbs the first week. The calorie thing had me a bit confused, but it's all working out now.
I realize that I was a "dumb" dieter. I thought that the less I ate = more weight loss. Obviously that's not the case! So now I've had to go back to all of my friends and try to correct the diet that I had told themI followed. Now I did drop 20 in the first 2 months of dieting, but I've also been at a stand still for 1 month. So I had to go back to all those that said, "OMG, what are you doing to lose weight?" And attempt to "fix" the bad advice that I gave them. Whew, I'm hoping that all just made sense.
Ok I will now take the time to mention how much I hate rude teenagers. No offense to anyone or anyone's children it's just I'm so sick of teenagers/people in general thinking it's ok to be as mean as possible to people and act like the people don't possess feelings of their own.
Today's Example: I went to good ole' Wal-Mart in search of some leggings. So I'm surrounded by shoppers going through the clearance buggies when I hear this really loud gargling/dying animal sound. It scared me half to death so I began searching for the source. Not 5 yrds away from me, there are two teenage boys following behind an over weight female teen. They are shreiking and making what I assumed to be their version of a whale cry because they were also calling her Shamu. I felt so bad for the poor girl that without thinking I dropped what I held and tore off after the meanies. I walked up to them and asked where their parents were? They quit their teasing and took off running. I really wish I could have done more. I really didn't even know what to do in that situation, I just knew I wanted them to stop. The girl, although embarrassed because the boys had obviously been following her around the whole store, smiled and said thanks. Oh if only there weren't laws about disciplining children in public
anyways, that's my spill for the day... Oh and I was quite proud of myself, I went to a baby shower today and didn't snack! *pats self on back*

Rep Power: 7 | | Wow, It has been awhile. This has probably been one of the most trying years of my life. Husband had cancer. Family members were dying left and right. Went through a divorce. Brother was almost killed in a car accident. LOTS of therapy to get him back to health. I really don't have a lot of reasons to wonder why I've gained my weight back. I got side tracked and pretty much gave up. Not anymore though. I know I've got to take control of my life or no one will. So, tomorrow marks the day of my new life. I graduate in May and would like to have most of my weight off by then. I know it will be hard. But I'm ready.
My parents asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told them Alli, lol. I'm not one for diet pills but I'm truly desperate to do ANYTHING to kick myself into the right direction. I may not stay on Alli forever, but I will take it for awhile. Especially since you have to stay within the recommended calorie/fat gr amounts per day or else. So I should keep watch much better this way.
Here's to a new beginning. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Nutrients & loss of 26 pounds I have lost 26 lbs. in 21 days. I came across this by accident. I have been 20-30 lbs over weight for the last 19 years. I am in my 40's
so I do not lose weight like I used to. Anyway, I have done different diets & cleanses lost weight & gained it back. Sometimes slowly
sometimes rather quickly. What took it off this time & is keeping it off is a pill intended for 72 hour kits & emergency kits.
It is called lifecaps. I was building my Bug out Bag or some called a big 72 hour kit & I heard of these pills that have all the
vitamins minerals to sustain life including iodine. I bought 25 bottles & then got a coupon code & bought 75 more bottles for
friends & family. ( coupon code for 33% off is "healthcaps" ) Lifecaps.net
How I lost the weight was when i recieved the first bottles I ordered, I was just curious what they were like & I heard of a
guy that went 30 days on lifecaps & water, all the time he was checked by a doctor, had his blood & sugar levels checked etc.
So I thought I would try it for a day & after that day decided to go 72 hours on these pills & water.
I really did not get hungry because all the nutrients were there, I did miss my diet cokes. I did a pill 3 times a day for three days
& drank about 6-10 glasses of water a day. I lost 7 pounds & felt great. I waited a week & did three days again. Lost 10 pounds.
Now all I do is just have lifecaps & water for one meal a day, 5-7 days a week, it is easy & the weight is staying off & I still lose
2-4 pounds a week not trying.
I love these pills & I am glad I came across them for my emergency kits.
I know they are not used for weightloss but they are healthy, no caffiene or any stimulants.
I will get into the same pant size I was in high school in a few months without even trying. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
