Ok.

Today I have eaten in the realm or 2200 calories. I may eat 130 more but I am not sure. Either way it is a fair sight better than my last 2 weeks.
I ran for 45 minutes today and went 4.6 miles. Total cal burned around 900. I am learning something about warm ups. Now that I am doing them properly and not jumping from 4mph to 6.7 I can go the same time always jogging, no slow downs. This pleases me.
All in all I am satisfied.

My wife decided to do the biggest loser thing at her school. I am really happy. She is more competitive than she thinks and I think this will wake her up a bit. I really hope she sticks to it, I can encourage, even lightly berate, but not train- that is the deal we struck.
One day does not a commitment make but I feel better about things today, both with my wife and myself. This will be a good week. Well- as good of a week as I can have anyway.

So I woke up this morning feeling pretty good- except I tore my heel up yesterday running. I bought new shoes and just took them out of the box and ran 9 miles in them without and break in period. My heel is raw...
Oh well, I was planning on a day off today anyway. Probably just take a semi leisurely walk tonight seeing the weather may have finally figured out it is spring here.
I am good overall though. Stayed at 2265 cal yesterday. Planning for 2135 today. This is low, like I said, but all things are relative. I will more than likely bump it up next week to 2500-2700 if i can work out like I used to.

On a side note:
What is the point of self evaluations at work? I have a review this or next week and need to fill out a self review. Is this so that your boss can laugh at what you think you are good at? My 'raise' is already computed and approved, what purpose is this supposed to serve.

I hate these things.

You are so lucky you can eat that much I'm jealous.

I think that self-evaluations are just another form of approved torture, sort of like water boarding. It is purely for management's entertainment value.

Good morning...

We just went thru those at work... and raises were not based on reviews -not that we've seen raises yet -not even sure if we're going to this year... the self evaluation process is so that the boss can be lazy - my boss loves mine because I have no problem being honest -I know where my shortcomings are and where i need to improve.. I also know my strengths - other people however, think the s un shines out of their asses and those reviews are always fun to read...

Good morning...
You could eat that much too if you wish to be 220 lbs...

I agree with the torture. My boss just emailed me and asked why I did not add any other comments about myself...
I replied that I thought that was covered in the skills assessment and had nothing more to say.... She actually responded "ok......"- not sure what this means.

Good morning to you too.
I said what you told me to to my wife. She was very happy.

I am honest to a fault.
I dont even want a raise, I just want my bonus. I made this company a hell of a lot of money in the last 6 months and want to see what they think it is worth.
I wish I could read some self evals that come across.... That would be great.

I am glad - keep saying it, she will continue to need to hear it, believe me.

I don't understand some managers, it is like they are completely allergic to actual work.

What will it take to convince people in this office to turn down their personal cell phone ringers in the office? Seriously man, do I need to hear 'I Swear' everytime little miss small ass's boyfriend calls. Or freakin Duran Duran when annoying woman's son- Zachary not Zack- calls for some inane reason.

Seriously I do not know how I do not go on a rampage here sometimes.

Because if you did, you would be all over the news and then the police would come for you and you would go to jail and end up being Bubba's bitch or something like that and that would put a pretty effective stop to your weight loss efforts...

Totally not worth it in my book

Really depends on the day.
Today no. Last week I would have injured someone for not washing their hands after peeing.

Sigh......Conforming to societies 'laws' is quite cumbersome.

Of course i am saying that to an attorney.....
