Sigh......Conforming to societies 'laws' is quite cumbersome.
Of course i am saying that to an attorney..... | Hey, remember I was the one saying I needed an office gun policy, remember? I only hate people that don't follow court orders...I could care less about laws |

Rep Power: 24 | | BTW. What kind of attorney are you? Would you be helpful if I got into a *ahem* situation?
Or are you real estate law or something like that?
Never know when who you know could be important. |

Never know when who you know could be important. | I am a family law/matrimonial attorney...so hopefully, I can be of ZERO help to you now and in the future, hehe. |

Figured I would ask.
Is that line of law depressing at all? Or does it make you think about/apreciate what you have?
I have often wondered this about alot of professions- how it affects the life of the person. |

I have often wondered this about alot of professions- how it affects the life of the person. | It can be depressing if you think about it for too long but I have had some really great experiences where people are just so grateful that you have helped them get through what is probably one of the worst experiences you can go through.
Others start the process angry and end it the same way and you can't do too much about that. I help the ones I can... |

Just wondering. My jobs have all been things where I do not interact with the public per se. I am more in contact with corporations then actual people if you get what I mean. I have often wondered how people who interact with adult situations- not that type!, doctor's, lawyers and the like- live their lives. They really see people at there worst- in many ways- and I imagine it is hard to disconnect and forget about it at home.
I think I would be looking at my marriage and comparing it to the one that I am processing if I had your career. More than likely that would end quickly but it is interesting to me. |

There is a saying - in criminal court you see the very worst people at their best and in family court you see the very best people at their worst. |

Walked for a little over an hour tonight around my subdivision. Must have been around 5 miles or so. I actually feel real good.
Food was around 2200 calories again. Pretty good with that.
My bandage should come off my hand tomorrow so hopefully I will be able to do more. If this thing is not healed there will be hell to pay!
Wife and I are doing insemination tomorrow- if you know what this is please pray for us- every little bit helps.
My hope is to be on the driving range hitting golf balls by 12pm and in the gym by 4. I only hope I can do both. |

Rep Power: 24 | | | It is amazing how good weather lifts your spirits.
Beautiful this morning. Sunny. Supposed to go up to 70.
Bandage & stitches come out in 2 hours or so.
Optimism abounds- for me not an easy task. |

Rep Power: 24 | | Well, I got my hand back.
A big ugly scar and I cannot fully extend it yet- but my hand is back- no restrictions given by the doctor.
I am going to try lifting the bar I bought the other day and see what I can do before going to the gym today. I am also going to try to swing a golf club and see how that is. I made a tee time yesterday for Sunday in anticipation!
I think all will be good, but now I have a new set of challenges trying to rehab a bit.
Nothing new though- seems my life has been a bunch of new challenges recently.
Oh well, least I am at home today! |

Well, able to WT yesterday. I am not 100% back though. The location of the incision pretty much means that the bar, dumbbell or whatever is right on the edge of the incision. If the dumbbells move it hurts like hell- really hell. I was not able to hoist as much weight as I used to due to this,- I need to hold them a little differently in my right hand- but it still felt great!
I did not do a damn thing for legs- I forgot in all honesty- but did do a satisfying upper body workout. Today I will hit lower with some squats and leg presses.
I can also swing a golf club. This is great since Sunday is supposed to have good weather here.
Bad part is I am back in the office after working form home yesterday. 24 hours without annoying office girl was great. But she is back in full force.
Office/company politics are irritating the hell out of me. If you want something from me email me. Do not allow a email chain to go to 5 without at least copying the person that has the information you need! I still have not received a request for anything yet have provided.
Still maintaining 2200 cal or so for this week. I will increase it next week as this is too low for me but I felt it was necessary for this week. |

Rep Power: 24 | | How the hell does one become frickin sick in this weather?
I know in the grand scheme the temperature makes no difference but how can my body be doing this to me after all the time I have waited for the weather to get better.
Cant breathe through my nose. Damn it.
Golf Sunday. Not missing that because I am sick. WT today. Not missing that because I am sick.
Woke at at 435 this morning because of the frickin earthquake. Not a good day so far.
Friday though........only 727am.

Rep Power: 24 | | | I woke up at 438 this morning without the alarm going off.
There is no other reason why I would wake up at that time without an alarm.
I did not actually feel the shaking though.
Cats were freaked out- they felt it. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
