Milestone purchase today. 36 inch belt.
They say your belt size is your waist plus 2. That makes me a 34 inch waist...
I seriously do not remember the last time I was a 34. I seriously must have been when I was 16 or something. I personally have never bought 34 inch waist anything so it must have been 16-17...
Man this is an odd feeling. I also look good in a t shirt that did not fit last year. What the hell is going on here......
If I didn't know me better I might actually be happy with what is going on here....
I will weigh in tomorrow morning and actually think I may see a lower number on the flat bastard..

So, coming off my high of the 36in belt I had a reflective weekend..
I get in these moods sometimes where I let my mind control me and just go wherever it wants me to- I ended up in a few interesting places this weekend. Nothing bad and actually several things pretty good. With my birthday coming up and a child on the way and a few other things happening I really let myself think. Sometimes good sometimes bad.
I was talking to a good friend of mine yesterday though and she asked me to name several things about me that I liked. I was able to mention some personality traits and obvious physical ones but stalled very quickly. She then named a few without skipping a beat and I get the idea she could have kept going.
This has woken me up a bit to the realization that I may not be giving myself enough credit. I actually may be damaging myself by holding on to the hatred of my body. So- I am attempting to turn over a new leaf. I am going to try to realize that a small percentage of the female population of the world may find me attractive.. So be it. I suspect that this is true anyway since very few people vomit uncontrollably in my presence... j/k.

The shirt I am wearing today was much tighter a month ago yet nothing has changed- don't even think measurements have changed. I do not get this at all but it looks nice on me.
All in all life is good. Still in kind of a reflective mood. Hopefully that does not interfere with work today.
I realize this post is all over the place but so be it- my diary and all.

I am really starting to love Tuesdays, even though this is the last time that we will have an ultrasound on Tuesday. We should be released to the regular OBGYN in 2 weeks. The last 'fertility' ultrasound should be next friday..
