Hi Ya Everyone...

The family drama has died down and I'm feeling better finally.
(hubby is sick now tho)

Sorry I have been away so long and have not had a chance to visit your diaries.

It has been crazy around here and to top it off, my brother Jimmy just had surgery on his broken hand.
He broke it in 2 places and had floating pcs of bone..

Surgery can be dangerous for my brother and sister's bc of their CAH Birth-Defect.

He came through surgery fine but is now in TERRIBLE Pain.

They had to use a bunch of pins which are sticking out everywhere bc 2 months from now they will come out.

I'm sure he learned a valuable lesson!!

He did this to himself while losing his temper.

He lives with his GF and they had a huge fight.
When she took off with a GF, he just started punching his fist through the bedroom door. *sigh*

I have not weighed in since I last posted, so I hope things are still the same or better..lol..

I'm hoping tomorrow/Monday can be my Day 1 with healthy eating/exercise.
I will weigh in no matter what.

Whelp, I gotta get ready for church, service starts at 10:30AM

I have enjoyed being back I tell ya!

I go Sunday's and Wed. night's.

I have bible study every morning and use quite a few books/devotionals along w/the bible.

I feel better, handle things better, and have a better outlook and attitude.

Know how you feel about being gone and feeling like no one noticed!!! hahaha
Though most everyone here knew that I was gone on Spring Break. But I have been posting now for about a week with hardly anyone to chat with. Boo hoo for me!
I am such a brat!!! hahahaha
So sorry to hear that your brother lost his temper and broke his hand as a result of it. I too have gotten so mad that I have punched a wall. Luckily for me though I didn't break anything.
I did it once in anger (almost put a whole in the drywall) and the other time was when I was preggers with my daughter and had accidently kicked the corner of the wall while walking (broke pinky toe). Didn't want to cuss so hit the wall instead.
Glad to hear that your devotionals are helping you to see things with clear eyes. It truly is amazing how when we focus on GOD all the other stuff just doesn't seem to bother us nearly as much.
Today is my "1st" day too!! haha

Sept '07' when I joined here, I was 179 lbs.

Plus, tomorrow is hubby's 38th B-Day and there is gonna be SO MUCH junk!

Cake-Ice Cream- and he wants me to make him my Mexican Casserole.

Then, we'll have Easter.

Lot's and lot's of No-No Foods.

I have been so involved with church and enjoying my free time, I haven't wanted to look..lol..

That is about to change though bc we REALLY need the extra cash.
Hubby's hours just keep getting cut!

Neat thing happened re: this topic though doll..

I was at the store Friday and a convo started up between this lady and I on one of the isles.

She works for a Home Health Care Agency and says they are really great and she has been with them for over a year now.

She was full of info and was so sweet to even give me her name and #
Dontcha just love people like that? What a sweet-heart.

I will check into it.

Sorry you've had lots of family drama. I sure hope your absence isn't b/c of more.
