Well, I started this week at 187 pounds, and now I am 182..I know it isnt all fat, but its something! (Especially since I totally pigged out on 2 of those days). I;m excited to lose weight, but latley I have been doing it only through not eating, no excersise. I hate excersie so much...its actually easier for me to starve myself. But, I am going to force myself to get off my ass at least 3 times a week from now on.
I want to lose at least 52 pounds by September..I hope I can manage it! I am moving to Scotland on/around September 13 to go to grad school, and, as having a cute scottish boyfriend would be nice, I'd like to be thin enough to be able to snag one!
I'm kind of afraid that when I lose weight that my boobs and stomach skin will sag, that would really, really suck. I got some moisturizing lotion today, so hopefully if I use that, it will help. Anyone else lose a lot of weight in a short period of time, and not had sag? Im a 40DDD right now..so pretty big Im 23 btw.

ugh..went downsatirs to get a drink..got 2 cookies. About 1600 calories today ( 4/15/2008), had 1250 yesterday. I guess shoot for 1000 tomorrow, help even things out.

IF ANYONE READS THIS--It may not make sense. Im pretty much just doing this journal for just me. Feel free to read, but you'll be bored.
Tuesday, 4/16/2008- Didnt get to weight myself today, but now (at night) Im am 182, so lets call it 182.
I ate about 1200-1250 cals today Only wanted to eat 1000. God damn that gelato! I think I'll have to take aderall tomorrow,,,probably only eat about 500-800 calories or so...so that should bring my average dwn for the week. Id like to average 1200 a day, and since i went over yesterday..well, have some catching up to do. Its wierd, I've been on this diet just over a week..OBVIOUSLY I wouldn't be seeing results..but I am still getting so unhappy about how I havent changed. I feel like everyone I have contact with thinkd I'm disgusting, especially my employers. What I really want is to be able to not see anyone I know for like 4 months, then come back and have them think I'm pretty since I lost the weight. I feel like no one will really notice since they see me weekly and I'm losing so gradually, that I'll always be thought of as the "fat girl".
I just hope sooo much by the end of the summer I'll be able to wear shortish skirts and tight tops like I used to wear, and that guys will look at me again. Im just so scared of having hanging skin and still looking flabby.

I think you should really read through the stickies in the nutrition section. 1000 cals for a 182 pound bod is nothing and you will hurt yourself more than you will do yourself good!
A good weight loss is one where you remain healthy, you lose weight slowly but do not put it on again the next day! I know it is really tempting to go down to a minimum of calories, but that is just going to starve your body!
Read through the stickies and make a new plan, one where you eat enough and exercise enough and you will see that weight fly off your body! I eat around 1500 and am losing quickly even though I am about 40 pounds lighter than you! But correct nutrition is important!
Anyhow, you will have a blast in Scotland, it is beautiful, and I hope you can get to your goal soon enough! Camy

today started out so well....you know what is killing my diet? BABYSITTING! I babysit 4 days a week..and all that awesome kid food I have to prepare is sooo tempting. i had to make the kids buttered noodles today, and give them homemade cookies and milk for snack...all of which I "sampled"...not to mention a couple of mini raids on their pantry Im guessing I probably will eat about 24-2500 calories today, so, twice as many as Im aiming for! I think i was also weak because I was on the scale today and didnt lose anything for 3 days..doesnt sound like a lot but normally when Im just starting a diet ( like i am now) I lose at least a pound every 2 days. Oh well, I will be extra crazy good tomorrow..hope today doesn't f--- up my whole week. I need to lose on average about 3 lbs a week to meet my goal by the time I leave, so this is crucial!

Got the same problem!!! When I am at college or home or anywhere but with the kids I can eat like a normal human being! But when I am with the kids I get this raging desire to 1.) eat everything they are eating and 2.) raid their fridge and pantry!
I am so happy I can't eat gluten anymore because their mom makes the most awesome choc chip cookies... they are enormous, think size of your hand in circumference and then like an inch thick. I calculated there are at least 1000 calories in each, and the kids get one each and I would eat 1 every time I went... no wonder I put on weight when I started working there!
I have no tips on how to make it better, I am still working hard on not eating everything in sight when with the kids, but if you come up with an idea, let me now! Camy

haha i know isn't it hard??? Those cookies sound tempting..I would have no will power against homemade ones, I know because I always eat the girl scout cookies these people CONSTANTLY have in their house! Basically what I do is try and really be good the days before i sit for them..since I know Ill end up being bad later

OK, so yesterday I probably snarfed down around 3000 calories...holy S*@t. But today I only ate 150 calories, which I know isnt good...but I ate so bad yesterday, and my grandma made passover seder for tomorrow with lots of stuff i like, so I know Ill be eating a lot tomorrow too. Hopefully today and Sunday will make it so i can still lose weight amidst all the pigging out!!

so..in my desparate need to lose 3 pounds a week, somehow I have lost nothing ( maybe half a pound) this past week. What I dont get is that I was bad on 2 days out of the week..but good the rest..seems like I should have lost more, especially since i just started. The week before I was REALLY bad 2 days, and still lost 4 pounds! Oh well, hope I do better this week.
