Rep Power: 0 | | Diary! Hello everyone..My name's Katie, I'm new here, i feel wriiting in a forum will help me with my weight loss by having motivation and support! I'm feeling optimistic Some of this may be rambles so i apoligise ahead of time. I'm a senior year of highschool and I want to feel good and look good for graduation. When i'm feeling good about myself, my whole personality and mood shifts completely in a positive aspect and I want to keep that mood with me wherever I go. My body type doesn't do well with even the slightest bit of extra weight and i'm not feeling too specactular right now.
I'm just below 5'5" and weigh 152. My current goal weight is 130 so every lb really does count and i hope to acheive this by the end of summer. I think i'm going on a low-carb route as sugars and carbs are very addicting for me. I'm a pescatarian (meanings i don't eat meat, but i do eat fish, eggs, dairy etc) I don't do well with too much diary as well and suffer from acne so eve if i'm not trying to loose weight i still must watch what i eat as junk food directly effects the quality of my skin.
Reasons to lose weight and keep it off:
feel good
look good
old clothes will fit again!
gain more confidence in my search for a job
Todays food journal:
Brunch- 2egg ommelette with lots of spinach, broccolli, mushrroms and onions. Topped with flax seeds. I also ate part of a pay day candy bar..not good.
Lunch- wasn't hungry from brunch so i had green tea with honey
After school meal: 1/2 cup dried cranberries, 1 piece of whole grain toast with jelly, 1 piece of whole grain toast with cheese, finished the pay day candy bar (not good again)
Snack: half piece of whole grain toasted bread dry
Feel free to comment, sorry if i've been long. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Today was good i think:
breakfast: a handful of almonds, aloe vera juice, green tea
lunch: handful of almonds, veggie dish i made (spinach, onion, brocolli, cauliflower, zuchinni) green tea
snack: 1 cup of cherries
dinner: veggie salad with sweet potatos & 1 dolma(greek leaves stuffed with rice)
dessert: 2 dates, a dark chocolate truffle , and some kombucha drink
activities: 30 min yoga video, walked around a bit, danced a bit at a show
i feel like i'm doing well, but i don't know if i'm really loosing weight, i feel like i'm just being healthy. everything i eat is healthy, but i still eat to the point of being full
goals: get out of my house more and stay active! today also marked my second week being 100% marijuana free..i'm trying to make it at least a month 100% clean. i used to smoke a lot, but this year i've really cut down on it, though sometimes on the weekends and i started smoking more frequently so completely cutting it out has helped me stay motivated |

Rep Power: 0 | | aw thanks for the support guys! yeah the no munchies part totally helps and it makes me want to exercise more. Gotta keep the endorphins flowing!! i was also pretty sore from the yoga yesterday which is a good feeling cos i know i got something out of it!
today was semi-successful and i also went to acupuncture in the morning which just helps with everything all together and got some herbs to help with digestion and skin problems
exercise:
ran up and down the stairs for a bit (sad, i know but better than nothing) diet:
-breakfast: 2 egg veggie ommelette with homemade salsa
-lunch: half a cantelope
-dinner: huge indian cuisine for mothers' day: rice, garbanzo bean dish, potato veggie dish, fried veggie dish, yogurt dish, garlic bread(bad i know but only 1 piece), and rice pudding which pushed it a little too far, i was stuffed, but it was absolutely delicious!
-snacks: hot chocolate(bad girl), half a cup of raisins, 1/2 cup cranberries, tea
not shabby but not great! goal for tomorow: get up before school for a morning run!! |

Rep Power: 0 | | exactly! today's been good :-)
I started my 3-day apple cleanse today and i jsut finished my 4th apple! you're supposed to eat at least 5-6 apples every day and drink only water. and then you finish it off with 2 oz olive oil. i've been a little lower on energy but i feel good doing a cleanse!
exercise: went for a good run/walk this morning.
i'm going to take it easy on exercise the next few days on the cleanse |

Rep Power: 8 | | thats a good idea to stop exercise while on the cleanse as you on very low cals you dont want to become dizzy and light headed if you exercise, well done on doing the cleanse! last year i died the master cleanse for my birthday and lost about 7lbs! | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
