Honestly I believed I had the food part down and that exercise would be harder... then I got exercise pretty down... and now the food is slipping!

I have a new plan of action though... I'll copy and paste it here from another journal I have later.

But basically, I was REALLY succesful and GOOD at this weightloss thing in my first 2 months.... now I've slacked, but I'm going to go back to what I did then to keep me on track. It WILL work!

I am halfway there and can feel my spirits dwindling, so to rekindle the flame I had for bettering my whole lifestyle, I need to stick my plans now!

2 weeks NO SMOKING (cigarettes) today!!!!

I just wanted to stop by and say you are doing awesome! Keep up the great work! Its normal to fall into "ruts" but they do pass and you will get that spark back!

Anke, I'm so glad that you are sticking with it and the no smoking. You are also keeping up with the exercising. The food will come along just so long as you stick with it. Keep up the good work, and give yourself a pat on the back for the two weeks of no smokies.

Well, uhh... I mentioned somewhere else but I'm still smoking SOMEthing...

But I'll be phasing that out at a later stage!

Danced around in my room last night, was so fun! Today I have a healthy lunch packed and I'm feeling good... going to gym after work and then to my boyfriend's place to stay over.

So, on the way to the gym after work my mind starts going...

"I just wanna go to Glenn's house and relax now! Well, I could go straight to his place and then go for a jog there..." and I almost convinced myself to get on the road to his place, but "who am I kidding, I won't jog once I'm there... okay, let's do this, let's just show up. Do at least 20 minutes on something cardio"

So was going to run, but was in a hurry and there were treadmill queues... so I got on an eliptical and went HARD for 20 minutes. Showered and went through to my boyfriend's place.

I think it was a situation well-handled! (Could have turned out as no exercise).

Anyway, so my bike (moped/ scooter) sorta broke down again this morning, taken it in. I won't be able to go to my belly dancing class though... even if I could organise a ride, I came to work late coz of the bike and have to get all my hours in today (been slacking too much lately - mostly on this forum )

So today I will be getting a ride home with one of my colleagues... I am going running in my neighbourhood (which I haven't done in ...years I think!) if it's still light enough outside. Otherwise I'll do my aerobic bellydancing video (really lame, but it'll do!) and then I want to do some body weight exercises too, including day 2 of Week 1 of the 100 pushups challenge (hehe - I feel so cool everytime I type that )

Got healthy foods, yesterday's eating went well, so will today's. This is a good week!

Great job getting your butt to the gym when you were thinking of skipping. It's so easy to put it off. Sounds like youre definitely off to a good week!

Well handled with the gym/boyfriend's house thing!! I am terrible handling those things, I always always convince myself that I will manage to do some exercise even when I know I won't!

Didn't end up doing any cardio, as it was too dark to run when I got home and I didn't have transport to the gym.

I did, however, do my pushups and some squats, crunches and belly dance drills for about 40 minutes. Quite chuffed about that actually

Anyway, the weekend is here, AGAIN! I'm so excited, me and my boyfriend have been "nesting" since last weekend. We wanna move out by September, so we've bought a microwave, toaster and kettle. This weekend we're going to get the pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. So excited!!!

Anyway, today I won't be getting in official exercise as I will be picking up my bike from the workshop and making my way through to my boyfriend's place... hmm, maybe if I get there while it's light I could still go run. Doubtful though, sun sets so early now (winter here!)

Anyway, otherwise I can go running in the morning (on a Saturday, hehe, never done before...)

Alright, I hope everyone has a fab weekend, and I will see y'all next week!
