Oy Vey... I had 10 nuggets and medium fries @ McDonald's... Much more than I anticipated... eek! I didn't realize I was ordering that--- that was was I always used to get. I was eating with my dad, before class, and I lost the battle with will power. I was like, I'm only gonna eat 6. Then it was like, Oh, 8 isn't that bad... then there was 10. Gah!!
Sheesh!
Class was good though.
All right, time to get a life off of the computer (this means watching tv... how sad is this?)
Grrowl.

Haha, I guess so. I'm glad you're enjoying reading so much! I need to get back in to it, I just can't find the time between sleep, tv, and food.
Jeeze. I'm eating out a lot these days. At least 3 times a week. Class 2 nights then we always go out on friday. Ah well, I enjoy it, I can't lie. I just have to keep that in mind when eating the rest of the day. Had I had my wallet with me this morning when my (very sick, like all day yesterday) sister dragged me out of bed to run in to Target for her medicine, I would have bought breakfast at chick-fil-a. Luckily I didn't. Sooo... dinner . Where should we eat for dinner?
I actually really enjoy eating out. I just save up calories the rest of the day and blow them all on a deliciously fantabulous dinner.
Crazy stuff. I didn't weigh myself this morning. I forgot, since I was not up by my own volition, and when we got home I ate, so I just didn't bother.

Hey there just checking in (well, I've been checking in all the time but I'm posting this time). I can't believe how close you are to the 190's!!! that's sooo great! I've finally been able to get back on track with exercise and a workout schedule.
I love eating out too, and I have a hard time resisting it, mind you I havent been to Mcd's since before March. I think that there will come a time where eating out 3 times a week is going to take a toll, not matter how much you alter a combo. At that point you may want to cut the eating out to twice a week, then once, and eventually once every couple weeks. And when you do go over your calories by just a bit, just work that treadmill a little harder Just a suggestion.
I'm glad to see your liking school (for the most part)
Keep going strong. And keep workin that treadmill!! Your doing great!!

Thanks for posting adeon. I know I have to cut back on the eating out, but right now, I'm still losing weight, so I have no problem with it When I hit a plateau (bigger than the one I just broke-- that was like a week, maybe a week and a half.) I'll change some things... But I'm happy with my progress and I'm just gonna keep on keepin on!
Don't fix what isn't broken! My weight loss isn't broken (yet), so when it is.... bye bye Taco Bell.
Haha...
Thanks for posting, and thanks for reading. I'll be lurking... *lurk lurk lurk*

Congrats Annie!!
As far as eating out, I usually don't, unless its at friendlies, and even than I won't get a ice cream...
but I just ate KFC a couple days ago, holy meow! What a horrible experience, my body was so used to not eating out anywhere really, my stomach hurt so horribely...
Hun there might come a time where you might have to cut the fast food out and just eat it once a month or something. I use it as a treat thing. I know you aren't supposed to reward yourself with food. But I don't know. There is something about being served by a waitress, being seated, given menus... the atmosphere... its all good ..
I remember taco bell from a couple years ago lol
What kind of foods do you like at Taco Bell? Damn its been a long time lol
I love talking about food .. I am so horrid
but congrats hun! And I am happy as well you are enjoying school...
My next book I plan to hopefully read, is "The Looking Glass Wars"
Its about the story of Alice in Alice in Wonderland. She discusses in journal entries how what the auther wrote was wrong. I am not sure how it goes exactly, but I read the first page and it sounds exciting..
I too love fantasy, magical worlds come alive in the minds eye!
Well I hope you have a fantastic day!! Congrats again hun!!
love yas

Congtatulations Annie!! You should post before and after pic! That amazing to feel in the 100'!! As for eating out, I think in terms of moderation and If your still losing and enjoying yourself I would say you are alright as long as you attempt to keep a variety in your diet!

Okay. I had the grossest greasiest most stomach-turning meal ever at lunch... It was this grilled ham and cheese sandwich, but it was on a bun. A soggy bun. It was greasy virginia ham and american cheese, it was like an inch and a half of ham... and greasy-ass mac&cheese.
It. Was. DELICIOUS.
haha...
I'll NEVER eat that again.
and then there was chocolate... oh so much chocolate. It all fit, but it was probably the worst day I've had in a while.
But honestly, I couldn't have gotten anything less greasy at that restaurant. My granddad wanted to go there, so we went.
I'm not gonna really worry about it though. I just know that tomorrow I'll do better.

The scale gods are confusing me. I guess I just went to the bathroom a little later, like 15-20min later, and I went down to 198.4. I was like, whatttttttt?! I weighed myself 3 consecutive times after seeing that, just to make sure it wasn't my scale. All three times it was 198.4.
I'm confused. To go down that much... whats going on there? I didn't even (pardon the terminology ) go number 2...
Blahh... I can't believe I just wrote that haha... It's the truth though...

Okay, I ate out. Meh. C'est la vie!
I mean, at least I didn't go crazy. Mighty Kids meal. 6 nuggets, small fries, diet coke.
I'm not gonna quit until I stop seeing results. It's a big part of my food intake right now, and I'm enjoying it. So... don't be givin' me all these lectures about not eating out. There are foods I have at home that rival the calorie content of McDonald's. I would eat them instead of McD's, and that's no good either. So chill out man.

You're doing great! If McD's is your thing then do it as long as it's not affecting your weight loss, it shouldn't really matter where you eat right? Well, I just want to say congrats and you go girl!!! Keep a goin!!!

I don't regard take away food as 'bad', most home cooked meals have MUCH more calories than 10 nuggets with fries at McDonalds.
And the great thing about fast food restaurants is you can check out their menu online and decide what is the best option by looking at calories/fat/protein. Im not sure if you have a Nando's over there, but their chicken is lush and super healthy for you.. the chips... not so much but oh they are tasty!
I love fast food so much

Thanks Austin! I sympathize-- I adore eating out.
I generally carry around a nutrition guide from McDonald's and Arby's (Chick-fil-a's nutrition guide is like a whole pamphlet, and Taco Bell doesn't have a version on paper. They're supposed to, but every time I ask they stare blankly at me as if to say "What the hell are you doing at taco bell if you need a nutrition guide?!") I keep them folded up in my wallet. I don't carry a purse, but if I did, it would be full of those things from everywhere!
I know it seems a little sad to be so excited about eating out, but honestly, it's pretty much up to my parents. Sure, I prod them along when I don't want hot dogs and kraft mac & cheese, but when we have dinner at home, I enjoy it thoroughly. We had meatloaf tonight. ORGASMICALLY DELICIOUS. haha, maybe that's going a little far, but it was really really good! I like eating at home- it's just some of the dishes my mom cooks are (absolutely no offense to her) not really my thing...(dry) chicken in wine sauce, Angelhair and meatballs, casseroles of all varieties... I have no say in what we eat at home. They won't let me cook anything without hovering over me, as a result, I don't like the stove much.
There are good nights for dinner at home, but also we have very busy lives. I have class tuesdays and thursdays, my sister has class monday tuesday and wednesday, my dad teaches class mondays and thursdays, and it's a much treasured tradition to go out for chinese on fridays. So basically, the only days we have a dinner as a whole family are Saturdays and Sundays, and we're always busy on saturday. Consequently, we have a home cooked meal on sunday. Other times we eat sandwiches and stuff, but with me being home all day, I've usually had sandwiches at least once or twice in the day already. So you can see, I like eating out. So sue me.
But thanks for the support Austin, I needed an opportunity to clear that up. I'm gonna go stop by your diary now and have a looksee.
