Ah. I know you'll be dissappointed, but I didn't do so well today.
I started off with a piece of stuffed crust pizza for breakfast, ham sandwich, 15 ruffles chips (I seriously need a food scale), and then 2 string cheeses to fight off the urge for more chips. Then dinner at McD's (DEVILLLLLLL). I had a grilled chicken sandwich, a diet coke, and most of a medium fry.

I thought I wasn't doing too badly until I got home and put it on fitday. 1983 calories

It's my brother's birthday tomorrow, but luckily he's in ft.Lauderdale so we won't be having a birthday dinner for him. My birthday's on the 27th, so we WILL be having one for me. I'm hoping either crab legs at Red Lobster, or steak and shrimp hibachi style at Ichiban or Sansui.

Gah.

Oh, everyone has those days, don't worry. I think what I would do on a day like that is say... hmmm, I've gone a little over with my calories... let me do a little over my usual exercise. It'll even it out.

Just don't get into a mindset of "oh, I can eat anything, I'll just exercise it off like a Nazi afterwards!"

In my opinion, that' not a healthy way of doing things... I only use it for slip ups. Hope that helped!

Oh, and one thing NOT to do is to eat less the next day... it doesn't make a difference. Follow your usual plan, like a fresh new page everyday!

I must say I am proud of myself. I did extraordinarily well, considering we ate at macaroni grill for lunch today.I had a few bites of my mom's caesar salad, then I ordered Penne Rustica (because the fish didn't sound good :P) and holy heavens it was good. BUT I stopped halfway when I was full (I would ordinarily eat the whole thing) and I only had 2 slices (instead of 3 or 4) of their rosemary bread. Here's one thing I question, though, is olive oil better for you than butter? I heard somewhere that it was, but I don't know where I found that information, so I'm not sure. So I had about 1 tbsp olive oil instead of butter (because that's just what I prefer) I almost drank a real coke, but luckily my mom tasted it and knew it wasn't diet (like I had ordered)

Earlier for breakfast I had 2 Oscar Mayer 98% fat free hotdogs(40 cal each), no buns. (because I don't personally like turkey dogs with buns.)

What to have for dinner? We ate at around 4 so I'm not really hungry yet. I just know I'm not going to have the rest of my lunch (That would mean I'd have had the whole thing and the whole serving is around 1300 calories. WOW)

any way I could work in fruits or veggies?

Thanks for the encouragement ankebuzz

I'm sure you decided what to eat yesterday, but for future reference, why not an apple, a handful of grapes, a banana or something similar if you're wanting a sweter treat (not another full meal).

Now I really like vegetables so I can enjoy just a bowl full of veggies. Maybe you need to experiment to find a method of preparation for veggies that you like.

Regarding Olive Oil, yes it is much healthier than butter...but it still has the same calories as other fats. It's just a healthy fat instead of a artery clogging fat.

Oh...one more thought. While it's not good to punish yourself for a naughty day, if you find yourself not hungry enough to consume all your calories the next day, I think you should take advantage of that and figure the calories are averaging out some. Of course if you're hungry it's not good to punish yourself for over eating the previous day...but if it's painless, I say save the calories.

ha... yeah

I had french toast this morning (but I did it the healthy way!) it was 3 slices light pepperidge farm 7 grain bread and I used promise margarine instead of regular butter. I DID have powdered sugar on my french toast, but it's my favorite, so I indulged.
It was about 274 calories if I figured correctly.

We might eat out for lunch, we might not. I don't know yet. I'll do my best though

eating the rest of my apple from yesterday. Granny smith. Not exactly my FAVORITE, but it still tastes good.

I had the rest of my dinner for lunch today, along with 2 hard boiled eggs minus the yolks (because I don't like hard boiled yolks-- I think they're icky.) :P
I found these UBER-delicious soft sugarfree candies, I had 3... They're like sugar free taffy, but they're only like 11 calories each.
For dinner I had 1/2 of a chicken breast, no skin, about 1 and a quarter to one and a half red potatoes, just boiled, a cob of corn with 1 tablespoon promise margarine, a can of light lemonade (5 calories) and then 3 more sugarfree candies (because they're so yummy).

I think I did pretty well.

YAY annie!!

My mom said that later this week, we could go shopping for some "interim clothes" ($50 worth!!)

Oh, have any of you guys read "The Ultimate Weight Solution" by Dr.Phil? I got it the other day and I started reading it and I wanted to know what you guys think.

Anyway, That's it!

Annie

WOOO!
My birthday's this friday, som my mom and I went shopping for some clothes.
I'm down from a size 20 waist to a size 18!
AND I got 2 new pairs of shoes for my birthday!

I had a pretty good day today, even though I'm back up to 218.1.
I got my box from sephora today. I bought this GoSmile tooth whitening kit ,complete with mango and tropical toothpastes and whitener and touch up "ampuoles". I'm so excited!!!

I ate at chickfila and had nuggets and fries and a diet lemonade, then I had pot roast and carrots with a piece of light oatmeal bread.

No breakfast today, I know, I know...

Anyway, my mom's off for the summer I've been sleeping pretty late.

I have to go to bed, scrutinize away.

WOW. I thought I was doing all horrible and stuff because I hadn't tallied up my calories or even visited fitday or the forums here for a couple of days, but I just tallied it all up and I did pretty well.

Today I went to McDonald's, but I think I did pretty awesome there. I got a premium grilled chicken sandwich (plain, on a whole wheat bun), Apple Dippers (no caramel sauce), and a large unsweetened Iced tea.

I had a LOT of fruit today, we got fresh rasberries and strawberries at costco, and they are AMAZING.

I did kind of overeat on mac n cheese at dinner, but it was so gooooooood. *sigh*

BUT I didn't mess up too bad today, so I'm happy.

Wellllll, that's all!
3 days until my birthday!

WOOOO! I'm gonna have cookie cake this year again. It's UBERyummy.

ohhhh I can't waiiiiiiiitttttttttttttt!!!!!!

Oh for the record, normal lollies have the same as 'sugar free' fairly often, so not always worth the switch.
And most of the calories and protien is in the egg yolk, so egg whites have just about nothing in them even though they can be filling

I love making merangue with a sugar replacement, its essentially a sweet treat with zilch calories! Egg whites and fake sugar
