Talking Awesome diet day!

My diet day! Any constructive criticisms are definitely welcome. So are comments.
(Note: My list isn't in complete order.)

1 fried egg
1 toasted english muffin
1/3 can tuna with chick peas and balsamic vinegar
1 normal bite of lemon cake
1 fat free french vanilla yogurt
1.5 cups of watermelon
1 piece cornbread
About half of some take-out Indian vegan dish that I don't know the name of with 1/2 of nan bread (similar to pita)

Workout for 30 min - 227 calories burned

About 1200 calories - 227 =

Overall, I think this was a pretty good diet day!

Hey

I think that if your BMI is only 21.7 now your calories shouldn't be as low as 1200 - I'm doing 1300 and my BMI is 28.7!! Then again I am not an expert but I do have good instincts Maybe try upping them to around 1500? X

Maintenance for her is probably under 1500 calories, plus exercise. So 1200 isn't a huge deficit, and with take-out it's hard to tell exactly how many calories you're getting.

OP, you want to be sure to get enough protein in your diet, so you can preserve as much lean muscle mass as possible.

I'm only 16 and 5'1", and to maintain my weight i need about 1500-1600 calories, so 1200 for a diet is good.

Thank you guys!

Thumbs up I'm on a roll~

So, here it is, my diet day yesterday: *dun, dun, dunnnn*

1/2 cup rice krispies
a splash of milk
1 piece of cornbread
1/2 cup watermelon
1/4 cup rice with a few bites of leftover vegan indian food
nonfat vanilla yogurt with blueberries
1/2 a medium-sized burger with no-fat salsa
a handful of chips
grilled onions and carrots
1/2 cup berry Italian ice
1/3 cup kashi unsweetened wheat cereal.. things.. <.< with a splash of nonfat milk

power walk/run intervals for over a mile

I really love writing my diet journal in this forum. Every time I eat, or want to eat something bad, I think, "Hey, the forum guys are going to read this... I better watch myself!" Very motivational
It forces me into a good diet day!

Smile Pretty good diet.. but no exercise?!

Here it is! (prepare yourself... :P )

Breakfast:
1 cup Kashi Wheat Cereal
1/4 cup non fat milk

Lunch:
1 nonfat vanilla yogurt with blueberries and flaxseed
About 5 bites of left over Indian Food

Snack 1:
2 Nonfat fig newtons

Very Early Dinner:
Half a cup of steamy bowl of homemade no-fat soup
1 cup of Strawberry-Banana soy milk

Snack 2:
1 and a half deli roast beef and American cheese roll-ups

Dessert:
1/2 slice of lemon ribbon bread
Two bites of Italian Ice

Exercise:
NONE My excuse - Finals are next week, so I've been studying like a madman. All of my teachers are cramming in last-minute work that must get done by Friday, meaning I have lots and lots of long projects to due.

Oh dear god. I have a pool party to go to this weekend!! I'm kind of panicking, because I obviously can't lose my last 10 pounds by then. Kind of a bummer. :/
But I can make it for the next pool party 3 weeks from now! Now THAT I am excited for!! Same for my boyfriend!

I posted my soup recipes under the "Recipe" Forum

Any critiques are welcome!

all your diary threads have been merged into one -it's easier for others to keep track of you if they don't have to read thru multiple diary rheads and it's easier for you to look back onhow you did downt he road if everything is in one thread

Smile Diary Entry

Breakfast:
1 Cup Kashi Autumn Wheat Cereal (200)
1/4 cup nonfat milk (low)

Lunch 1:
Nonfat French vanilla yogurt with blueberries and flax seeds (100)

Lunch 2:
10 Reduced fat Wheat Thins with a a few spoonfuls of vegetable hummus (300)

Snack:
1 1/2 Cups Strawberry-banana soy milk (150)

Dinner:
1 Linda McCartney Spicy Peanut Pasta with Vegetarian Chicken Microwavable meal (400)
A teeennnyy piece of cornbread

Water:
A lot

Workout:
none. I hate the last week of school before finals... so much work to be crammed in at once! It leaves me no free time whatsoever.

About 1200 calories consumed today, a 570 calorie deficit.

I just wasn't hungry today. Summer is burning up my hometown today, so I'm losing interest in food and focusing on how to stay cool. I'm glad that summer vacation is in less than two weeks, but man is it a scorcher!

Goals:
8 pounds gone by June 22, for a pool party!!

Please comment! Any little comment is greatly appreciated!

Go you, for losing your appetite in the heat. It's a million degrees here, and all I want to do is lie around and eat. :P

Sunday, June 8

I broke my diet yesterday! I went to a friend's birthday party, and well, you can imagine...

Anyways, here is today:

Breakfast:
1 tea with a spoonful of honey and 1/5 tbsp of whole milk

Lunch:
Lean Cuisine Chicken Tuscan Panini
Stonyfield Farm Fat Free Black Cherry Yogurt

Dinner:
Toasted Pita with 4 slices of American Cheese
1.5 Cups of whole strawberries

About 903 calories today. I wasn't hungry today again. Probably because I'm stressed out over finals. :/ At least I won't have to work out today, then! lol...

I started to track my food intake on fitday.com. It's a very helpful site that tracks calorie intake along with other things! I found out that I eat a lot of fat during the day.. maybe that's why I'm at a plateau with my weight loss!
