I need to get one.
Thanks JellyBelly! Yes I use a pedometer (doctors orders ) and it does seem to be pretty accurate. However, I think it's because it's probably a little more of an expensive one. I noticed the one I got from McDonalds a while ago, isn't accurate at all.
They really are nice though because I didn't realize how little steps I actually take in a day until I got one. It gives me something to work toward which is nice. Thanks for reading my journal.

Thanks Jess! I truly hope so! My dress will be here on Monday and I know it's too small (wanted to get something to work toward) so I've got to really stay focused on the prize! Thanks for reading my journal! All the support really helps.

Why can't we lose weight while we sleep? Wouldn't it be so nice to be able to say, "Gee, I need to lose a few pounds so I'm going to have to go to bed early and sleep in for the next few weeks." Man, I would look so FINE!

Okay, I've decided I'm really not ready to tighten up the diet yet so I'm going to stick to what I've been doing (it's good, just not the "fitness competitor" type of diet I'm used to using to lean out) for now. I figure if I want to be really tight by my wedding, I'll do the fitness competitor thing 8 to 10 weeks out... that still gives me 11-13 weeks to focus more on the training end and see where that gets me. BUT I'm going to definitely increase the cardio and even start to incorporate running (oh, how I hate to run). I'm trying to decide what the best weight training program would be for me because I swear I gain muscle if I even look at a dumbbell and I'm really not interested in adding ANY more muscle to this body.

I've been in a really down mood most of this week and I know why so I'm trying to come out of it and get my head re-focused on this weight loss but it has been hard. To make things worse, found out yesterday that an ex-boyfriend of mine (many years ago), died last Tuesday... kinda messed with my head a little. Didn't find out until the funeral was over so I didn't attend and that bothers me a lot for some reason.
Anyway, I'm just babbling so I'm gonna go.

On the agenda for tomorrow: No less than 11,000 steps, good eating, and 30 minutes of cardio (adding running) and weight training (haven't decided exactly what yet).

Thanks for reading!
