No hard feelings MJ.

Well... I don't really have anything new to post. My life is the same story day in and day out, work, cheer, soccer, school, dinner, kids, hubby... makes for a boring diary but it's my life and I'll take it lol... so I don't know if I'll be posting here much anymore. Not really motivated to do so... I will continue to post in other threads though so I will still be around.

Steeling from Trops here...
Lecture Time missy...

Hey, Paula! Don't get in a FUNK now... that day in and day out routine you are in... your LIFE... that's what makes us who we are! BTW, It makes you a great person to know.

On a side note... that 14 pounds isn't going to lose it's self! Get motivated! You motivate others... maybe some of them can motivate you!

End of chat... Have a great day!

Hi JZ. Thanks for the lecture. Guess I just feel like the couple of people who do come in here are probably bored of the same ol' thing lol... I like your one day at a time thing in your signature. I always tell people "Just for today...", basically the same concept. Great minds think alike.
So, ever since we moved, I haven't been motivated to do anything. My diet sucks, my training is random. I decided this morning that I'm going to move a few pieces of equipment up to the spare bedroom until I can get some heat in the basement. Every night I set my alarm so that I wake up in time to work out. Every morning I convince myself that its too cold downstairs and that I will workout later that night. Every night rolls around and I make another excuse. SO... If I move some equipment into the spare bedroom, I can't use the "cold" excuse anymore. As for diet, I'm going to go with my "Just for Today" motto and eat healthy TODAY. I will worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.
Thanks for checkin' on me JZ.

No problem checkin in! Also, I HAVE to take it one day at a time... anything else puts way to much on my table... Then I get that... "I'm way the hell in over my head" feeling, and that would probably make me freeze up and think about all the things I have to do... instead of doing them!

with you! TODAY so far I have done some Billy Blanks Bootcamp. It was good to feel my abs flex again! I have to get ready for work but I'm going to take a walk on the trail with the kids tonight and look for my lost cat. So I will get another workout in tonight. This morning's workout wasn't anything amazing but it got my muscles flexing a little and motivated me to do more later... I'm packing my lunch so I can eat right at work today. I'm aiming for a six pack by New Year's! It will feel so good to not have a weight loss resolution this year!

On a very happy note... I think I sold my salon! I am crossing my fingers that the financing goes through for this guy so I can get out of the tanning business lol.

Paulab......I want you to keep driving that energy force you have inside to reach that goal of yours......If I could I would give you the pounds I have already lost so you could be that much closer to yours, Because I have to say mine I feel was pretty easy to come off. I know it’s harder to get off those last few pounds after you have reached a peak.

You gave me motivation to keep going. In fact you were pretty much the only one to post in my diary besides one other person, and I thank you for that. Keep the ball rolling my dear.

On another note....Good luck with selling your business. It must be pretty stressful to say the least. I am currently looking for a house, and still planning the wedding so I feel your pain.

Later!

Wow! Thanks Madman! I know I can lose this weight pretty easy if I just stay consistant.

You have a lot on your plate! Buying a house AND getting ready for a wedding is NO JOKE!!!

This salon is one of three businesses my husband and I own. It is hopefully gone soon and then I think we will get rid of our management company too and just focus on the investment business we have. Eventually I would like to open a cheer gym but we will see.

Thanks for stoppin' by! It means a lot to me.

Awsome idea Paula! If you can work at something you love... that's great! You obviously come with experience and passion for the sport... that would be amazing to do!

Thanks JZ! I LOVE cheer, I know that sounds lame lol but I do. My son would would like me to open an indoor skateboard park. We have a few here but none of them offer lessons... so it's something we're tossing around. Of course I would have to hire some staff for that cuz skateboarding is not my forte (sp?) lol! I'm also thinking about preparing for a fitness competition. It's something I've always wanted to do but never have... we'll see.

Sounds like you have plenty of great ideas, and MOTIVATION. Those fitness competitions are great. I know a woman in LA who competes in them all the time. She went from small town Ohio to LA to be an actress... LOL... became a personal trainer at the Bally's out there, and eventually found what she really wanted to do. I say GO FOR IT!

As long as I can balance it all with my family, I will do it! Lots of work... I haven't tumbled for 2 years (after blowing out my knee and having surgery) so I would have to start over there and gain back my confindence. Plus now I have this ugly scar on my stomach and, if you know a fitness competitor, you know those suits don't hide much!

Wow Paula, I had no idea that you and your husband were the owners of 3 different businesses. Your very motivated and savvy it seems, to me.... I must say, I read your diary quite often, and it isn't boring... I sometimes feel that about my own diary... but I still post in it. They are our own diaries and we aren't really writing in them for anyone but ourselves, ultimately right?

-Sam

Look at all of you! And here I thought I could just slip out of my diary unnoticed! LOL Thanks to all of you! And Sam, you are right. Sometimes I will look back and it's great to have a reference.
As for the businesses, I don't know if we're savvy and motivated or stupid and crazy lol!

Well I'm happy to report my little lost cat is home. Today is day 3 that he has been missing so we put signs up around the neighborhood. Within a couple of hours someone called saying he'd been hanging out at their house. He's young so I think he just got turned around with the move and couldn't find the new house. I'm going to keep him inside for a while. Good night ya'll.
