Fit, Healthy, Strong

This is it. I'm off the wagon. I've been off the wagon for (let's think...) 3 weeks. I haven't written down what I've eaten. I haven't recorded activity points or really earned many. That is changing right now. I need somewhere to be religious about getting this stuff down and I have all the tools I need except a place where I can write everything down and not lose it.

Here it is!

I'm currently 238 (this morning's measurement--not sure whether to really trust it) pounds. I get 30 WW points a day. I'm joining a gym Monday (tried it out this past week and decided it's lovely). I also like to jog and bike around, although I've recently moved so this is a bit of a challenge at the moment.

Thumbs down Ugh.

Not a great start today. Tomorrow will be better, especially since I'm menu planning when I finish this.
  • coffee smoothie 1:1
  • chicken 2:3
  • 2 biscuits 8:11
  • cheesy casserole 10:21
  • angel food cake(s) 5:26
  • 3 pieces gary's garlic pizza 21:47
  • 2 pieces pepperoni pizza 14:61
  • 6 wings 18:79
  • 1 chocolate chip cookie 3:82

Now some of these points are guesstimated, but the ugly truth is there. I usually don't count on days like this, but I needed to see what I'm really doing. Tomorrow is a new day!!

Tomorrow is always a new day -but your next meal is when you should get back on track -

and regardless of whether it's a good day or a bad day - you should always be counting it - it gives you a history to go back and look at.. you might ask yourself why you considered it a bad day and what you could have done to make it better...

For today:
  • havreflarn 2:2
  • biscuits w/ eggs and sausage 8:10
  • ckn/dumpings soup and salad 7:17
  • peach, strawberry, banana, orange juice smoothie 4:21
  • tilapia, risotto, salad 7:28
  • cookie 1:29
  • snack 5:34

10 after breakfast is quite a start, but I'm sure today will be fine all the same (I do get 30, ya know). I was going to bike today but my phone just got a new battery, which is charging, so I couldn't take it. I'm a little let down, but Justin and I are going to the gym today, so I'm okay.

30 minutes at the gym on the elliptical! That's +4 for me which =34 to aspire to!

Ahem. I should have taken the "don't overdo it" advice. I jogged, then worked out on Monday, then worked out yesterday. Now my knee hates me. No big big deal...I think it just needs some rest, but still. I feel a little like cursing.

So no more jogging until I'm a little lighter. Even then, I'm not sure I'll be in for it. I'm sad to see it go, but in this neighborhood--not that sad. :-)

Today I'm doing well so far:
  • eggs w/ fake saus, salsa, and english muffin 4:4
  • york peppermint patty 4:8
  • angel food thing 1:9
  • biscuit 4:13
  • 2 more biscuits 6:19
  • 2 different more biscuits 8:27
  • pot roast 6:33
  • doritos 4:37
  • lindor truffle 1:38
  • cupcakes 5:43
  • popcorn 8:51
  • doritos 4:55

At least I ended on a round number?

It was a trip to my parents' combined with forgetting to eat lunch (which was then replaced with crap). The trip to my parents' thing I've really got to work on (especially the biscuits, maybe?). I ruin my diet every Sunday and any other time I visit them. I never feel the need to snack so much as I feel the moment I walk through their door. Maybe I'll take a rubber band with me next time and smack my wrist when I'm tempted.

I know I'm their kid, but it's rude, too. Grrr....

Once again...right now is a new start.

So far so good today:
I'm feeling a bit pecking as of 11, though...maybe I'll find a snack.
  • tortillas w/ pb 4:4
  • cheezits 3:7
  • english muffin 2:9
  • 2 salmon patties 10:19
  • rice w/fake butter 4:23
