Pretty sure I'm gonna hit at least 200% completion of my 100 hours of (extra) NEPA goal for the summer.
Also, despite my frequent complaining, I seem to be solidly in the 180s. I've noticed a pattern: every time I play lasertag I lose 1 lb. So, at ~$35/4 hours, if I play 100 hours of lasertag (currently at about 20 I think haha), I will have spent $875 and lost 25 lbs. I wonder how that compares to say, Jenny Craig.
Tomorrow will be Day 7 of 28 for the V Diet. So far I've been perfect with regard to my adherence, and lost 2.8 lbs. This puts me at roughly 23% body fat currently, assuming an almost negligible loss of lean tissue. Assuming, once again, no water weight fluctuation (which I seem to be immune to?) that'll mean 13.1 lbs for 28 days. So hopefully I'll be at 178.3 lbs and 18.5% body fat on the 27th of July.
The point of all this being that I suppose my "remove 10 points from my body fat percentage" goal for the summer seems doable. Not really sure what I'll do in August... I guess the break-out for this diet and then... Velocity Again? :SaiyanSmilie_anim: Depends on the results. I'll do this all winter too if I have to. Grawrar. But the sooner I can bulk the more fun I'll be having.

Not really sure what happened today. Felt like I lost a little strength. Which would be understandable given the whole simulated starvation thing but I was mostly fine until the 65x25 bench I randomly threw in. That wrecked me for everything else. I liked it because I really felt it everywhere I was supposed to. But afterward my forearms and biceps were too trashed to handle the rest. I dunnoes. Still had lots of fun, though.

It appears the V Diet is working. A lot. I may break into the 170s before the week is through. O_o But I'm feeling quite a lot like a flat tire.
It now seems highly probable that I am in fact insulin sensitive - the confirmation of which was and continues to be the main point of this "experiment" (see: torture session). Other than rapid results I mean. Keto was too sloppy to make an accurate assessment.
My friend (who's a psychiatrist) insists that I have an unhealthy obsession, but I'm sayin', "I like this deal; I'll take results for pain every day of the week." Shit, I wish there was some way to make it even more difficult. But I honestly don't think there is. Suggestions, anyone?

It's really only a half-assed hypothesis. It would be more accurate to say that I think I was carb sensitive, due partially to a near complete lack of exercise, and am slowly becoming less so.
Anyway: I've noted that the lower the GI (and more importantly, GL) of the foods I eat, and the higher the protein and fat content, the more body fat I shed, at the same caloric intake. For example, on velocity as I am now, I am eating roughly 150 calories a day less than I was on a balanced but lowish carb Berardi style diet (no starches at all, only fruits and vegetables and WO recovery), and losing weight at 2 to 3 times the rate I was then (too fast even, as I'm barely maintaining my current levels of strength). The difference is 25% calories from carbs (the former) and <10% calories from carbs (the latter). It would seem that, for me, not all calories are created equal. Not even close. And I feel better on less carbs. Sort of deflated and weak (I suspect that's the deficit diet), but good.
Also, the pattern of my body fat distribution. The spare tire is the first to come and the last to leave. And I generally feel mildly bloated after consuming starches, regardless of how "clean" they are.

Ohhh, carb sensitive or put differently... insulin resistant maybe.
I don't know why I read insulin sensitive.
This all makes sense now... and very well could be the fact of the matter. It certainly wouldn't be the first time I've seen this.
I'm quite the opposite.
When I did the PSMF I felt like shit. My strength really didn't go down but I felt light headed and weak constantly. That too could have been the deficit 'talking' to though.
I just feel a lot better on higher carbs and I actually retain my leanness.
It's funny the differences from individual to individual though.

One-legged box jumps are brutal. It was one leg the whole way, even the landing and the dismount. XD Ruhr.
I'mma run tomorrow. I'm really, really not supposed to, but no power in the verse can stop me, hahahahaha...I'll do it on the treadmill/track though. I'll decide when I try the treadmill, if I find it uncomfortable to run on I'll use the track.
My knee region should be fine now, and I don't want to throw away all that work I did to get where I am(/was? T_T). So, sticking with the plan to run Wed and Sun, even if it kills me and/or costs me 5 lbs of lean mass.
I'm really not worried about getting the muscle back when I'm done.
