Rep Power: 0 | | | My diary This is day 8 of my plan. The dietician told me that I might get pretty tired the first couple of weeks. I haven't really felt anymore tired than usual, but tonight I am just exhausted. I haven't had a day off in over a week, so I think that might be something to do with it, as well. I have also been making exercise a priority and I worked at my part time job yesterday. My part time job is in a jewelry store, so I ran my butt off yesterday and then ran my butt off today at my regular job. My friends and I are getting up super early tomorrow to do an 8 mile bike ride, so that's good. I just feel bad right now for sitting here. It's so pretty outside and I promised myself that I would go to the park tonight but I just sit here. Ugh! I wish I could just muster up some energy.
Other than being tired today, things are going well. I'm down 6 pounds and feeling better already. I'm not retaining as much water, I'm waking up much more energetic and I can already see some difference in my clothes. I overcame a huge milestone yesterday when the people at my part time job ordered pizza. They didn't know I was dieting yet and I had to keep myself from eating it all day. It didn't help that it was my favorite kind, too. I did it though and I felt really good about myself for just ignoring it and sticking to plan. I was invited to go out to dinner tonight too and I really wanted to but didn't. I know I can do this. I get stronger each day and I can't wait to see the changes that losing weight will bring to my life. I want to be more active and do more stuff outdoors and be able to buy really cute clothes and not feel like a dumb ass. I can't wait! |

1. Dont feel bad for sitting at the computer if you have been running around all day, The fact you want to exercise more shows a great determination in you
2.Well done for losing 6 pounds, thats nearly half a stone already you should be proud of yourself
3.Well done for not going near the pizza, didnt it feel great, Didnt you leave work and inside your mind you were thinking "YES!!!!!!!!!!!". Happened me last weekend when my sisters ordered a take away and i felt fab knowing i didnt touch any part of it.Well done you!
4. You can still buy cute clothes now, i buy clothes that are 1/2 sizes smaller than i am now, and i think "i will fit into these in 1/2 months" i bought a lovely pink top about 3 weeks ago that was tight on me and it fits me now.You wont believe the feeling of pride it brings
Good luck xx

Rep Power: 0 | | Coming along! I had my second weigh in this morning and I am happy to report that I am now down 9.5 lbs! I'm really starting to tell a difference in my clothes and my energy level has gone up quite a bit.
I was sick the past two days. I had horrible stomach cramps and lots of just not fun gross stuff. I couldn't each much, but I didn't cheat. I still managed to lose and I am totally back on plan now that I am feeling better. I have been exercising pretty religiously, aside from my sick days and feel pretty good about it. My mom even took a walk with me tonight, which is a rare treat!
All in all, I'm feeling good and very positive about the results and what's to come. It's so great to have the support at my group and here! | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
