Yeah I took a spinning class, which is the equivalent of walking into a small, dark, enclosed hell. Workout hell. The man who is in charge makes it an hour long, with 10 minutes of stretching in the beginning and then 10 minutes of cool-down stretching at the end. HOWEVER, the middle spinning class is horrible!!! It seriously is the best way to lose weight. Although, I think I blacked out in the middle of it because i cannot for the life of me remember half hour of the spinning portion!! hahaha I could only think "don't stop don't stop don't stop"

You can go at your own pace and manage your own resistance, so you can make it good for you!!! You should definitely try it!!!

GO TEAM ONE! BOO TEAM POO!! hahaha

HELLO!! So far today, everything is going awesome! It is my day-off from working out, so I'm taking it easy catching up with school work and GRE stuff, and eating healthy!

Today was the weigh in for my biggest loser!! I'm down to 192.4 (the morning after New Years I was at 194 even...went down and then went back up, so now I'm down again!!). This is looking good for the 6 week challenge because I was starting at 194.4!!! I want to lose 2-3 lbs by the 6 week challenge weigh in! Hopefully I can do it! I'll update the signature today!

School went well, really enjoying my classes! Today was my High Renaissance and Mannerist art course, which was SO COOL. We talked about perspective in Leonardo da Vinci's work today for 2 hours! LOVED IT!

Tonight is the national championship game so I won't be on later to update, but I'll be on tomorrow morning! Tomorrow I have a Big Sister's awards banquet because my little sister (I'm in Big Brothers Big Sisters) was on the honor roll this past report card! I'm so proud! It was the first time she had ever done well in school!!! But that is in the afternoon, so my goal is to write in here early tomorrow and then write later tomorrow early evening.

I'm still debating about going out this weekend. I'm doing so well in my diet, I don't think going to a bar will help me at all. I'm going to try and con one of my friends to stay in with me. See, this is why I need a boyfriend! Any takers? No seriously, I'm going through a weird "I need a guy" stage. I mean, my last boyfriend was this past winter! A YEAR! UGHHHH I'm so lame!

Anyway, below is my food and I'll talk to everyone hopefully tomorrow. Well, I am going to peruse the forums for a bit!!! Have a good night!

Today's food:
Breakfast shake
Fiberone bar
Sandwich (lean ham, swiss, grey poupon)
Celery
Apricot
Light and Fit Yogurt
and WATER!!!!!!!!! uhhhhhhhhhh no matter water! Must keep drinking....

Way to go on taking a spinning class. I've always been afraid to take a class cuz I'm afraid I'd skip and get a bad grade ;/. On the other hand maybe once I get on track that'd be just the incentive I need, lol. Grats on the weight loss!

Hey everyone I can only check in for a second. This challenge is going GREAT! I am down to 190, and still losing. I never really had a check and balance with my diet, and now I don't want to let people down so I stick to my diet EVERY DAY. It actually isn't that hard. I eat TONS of fresh veggies, ask the staff at Trader Joe's how to get the largest meals for my allotted calories, and work out. The spinning classes have been great, the spin-master guy is a real spin-nazi, but he is kicking my ass!!!!!!

The reason I haven't been on here, and why I can only talk really quick, is because my computer COMPLETELY shutdown. COMPLETELY. The only computers I can use are the ones at the library (which is how I do the challenge spreadsheet) and my friends, which I'm on right now. I have the Geek Squad guys looking at it, but they said they don't know if they can repair it, it just might be old. So I need a new computer, which I cannot afford, so I don't know what to do!!!

It has also been FRIGID here these past couple of days (as everyone in the midwest and Eastern part of America is experiencing) so I haven't been able to go to teh gym as much as I want. Last night it was down to -20s and it was too cold for the salt to melt the ice on the roads!!! CRAZY! You could already feel how it warmed up today, and it was 3 degrees! hahahaha A real heat wave!

But I have been keeping up with EVERYONE via email feeds and I am so proud of everyone!!!! It seems like this year everyone is kicking their diet and their resolutions into high gear!

I really wanted to thank everyone who has stopped by especially in these last couple of days since I've been MIA. AS SOON AS I CAN I WILL CHECK ON YOU AND WRITE IN YOUR DIARIES!!!!!!!!

Thats great, and thank you. I think spinning is probably one of the hardest things in the world. It works muscles you don't even realize you have! My friend who runs marathons hates spin classes and says it is harder than running for her! You should try it though, you can go at your own pace and own intensity which is really great! Good luck!

Glad to hear from you again! Sucks about the computer

Keep it up with the healthy eating and the exercise when you can. Weather can do horrible things, but keep staying safe and as warm as possible too And congrats for dropping off the poundssssss.

I love TJ's. Real good food made from real ingredients for not a ton of money. You still have to check the nutritional info closely, though. Keep up the good work.

I had my mother board go on my laptop a few months ago and Geek Squad said to replace it. My wife checked online and found there was a recall on that model. I sent it in and they fixed it free including shipping both ways. It's worth checking out.
