Rep Power: 11 | | AHHHHHH!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! You look fabulouso! Hot mama!!!! WOOOO that was me whistling through the computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It looks gorgeous, I wish I could have been there instead of trapped inside doing work all day! wah wah! Great job with the journaling of the food, I need to be as good as you with that, lately I have been slacking.
I'm really pround of the weight loss also, you are MOVING DOWN THAT SCALE! I wish I could be losing at the pace you are losing, I feel like I'm going nowhere lately!
Again, about the pacifier, I'm thrilled for YOU that it was easy to wean him off of it. Hopefully now he'll have a safer life without the risk of ear infections. It also reduces his exposure to bacteria and reduce his chances of recurring sickness. YAY!! What a healthy family you've got going there! Good luck this week!!!! |

Me and my family (Dad and siblings and my hubby and son) went to Navarre Beach, Florida. We had a really good and relaxing time. I actually wore a bathing suit. This is something I haven't done in over 5 years. I still have a ways to go, but I'm getting closer and closer with each pound and feeling more confident than I have in years. I may have been this weight 2 years ago, but I wasn't feeling as good as I am today. Well, thanks so much for stopping by!

Rep Power: 13 | | | Day 37 8-4-08 219 lbs. this morning. Hoping to see 218 tomorrow
I went to my dad's this morning and my older cousin(older by about 4 years) came swimming with me. On Apr. 22nd of this year she had surgery to remove part of her stomach. Since then she has lost 75 pounds and still losing. She is about the same size as me now and she brought over about 5 garbage bags of clothes that she bought last month, but are too big now and gave them to me. She has a really nice sense of style and so it's exciting to be getting these clothes. Anyway, we had a really good visit. I asked her A LOT of questions about her surgery and how she is feeling now. She is a head chef at at one of the nicest restaurants around where my dad lives and she has always loved food and has always been overweight. Today she told me that she doesn't eat. She drinks shakes, and crystal light and every once in a while she takes a bite or two of something and gets full. I let the thought of me going through a surgery like this linger for a moment ........... and then I let it go. It was just so exciting to see how much she has lost in such a short time. I know that I can give up "pigging out" and I can give up being a lazy bum around my house....but I could never give up food altogther. It just doesn't seem natural. But, I am very happy for her and am so glad that she did this for herself. She is happy with it and said that she doesn't regret it at all. It is weird now, knowing that I am the biggest person in my entire extended family (aside from my Uncle...which is this cousin's dad.) I know that I shouldn't dwell on this or else it might make me depressed thinking about it. What I am doing is working for me and I'm stickin' to it Exercise: 3 hours of swimming!!! (Not laps, but I was constantly swimming around the pool, taking a few breaks.) Breakfast: 2 apples. couple cubes of Cheddar Cheese. Whole grain crackers. Ice water Lunch: 3 strips of grilled chicken breast, 2 pieces of wheat toast- dijon mustard, ketchup. cheddar cheese cubes, crackers and hummus with peppers. Ice water with a splash of low sugar grapefruit juice. Dinner: Smoothie: 1 banana, 2 handfuls of blueberries, 2 cups of 1% milk, 1 serving of chocolate protein powder-100 cal) 1 1/2 Fiber One yogurts, ice. YUMMM!

Good job! | heheh! I hope I can keep going at this rate! I don't want to kid myself though. I have a feeling that tomorrow the scale won't be so nice to me. I ate more than usual today. At least it feels like I did. Guess I'll have to see! Oh, I got on my mom-in-law's scale and it said that I was 210! Umm, that's NINE pounds different! I put my weights on her scale and it should have read 16 lbs but only said 14, so I know it's off by 2 lbs. Sure would feel good to know that I'm that much closer to my goal if my scale really IS off by that much!!! I'm curious now............
K- wierdest thing...I just went and put 15 pounds of weights on my scale and it read correctly....sooo confused. How can mine AND hers both be correct with weights and not with me??? Mine is digital and hers is a dial...but that still doesn't explain anything... hmm
