Rep Power: 8 | | Your day was not as bad as you make it out. I bet you just felt fuller than you usually do because you have been eating so much healthier.
PLUS... you still managed to get on that exercise bike.
Good luck tomorrow.
(I'm trying to find some kind of "bar" that I can keep in my car for emergencies if I happen to be out running errands and get hungry. How is the Kashi bar you had? I really like the Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal and the Kashi Cinnamon Harvest cereal, but have never tried anything else.) |

I'm sure you are going to be fine, I wouldn't worry. I mean, let's be honest, you have been kicking ass lately. Don't worry, because one slight stumble is something you can recover from! Good luck with the weigh in!!!!!!!!! |

ANYWAY, it still kicked my booty and I had sweat dripping down my face! I'm not home yet, but I might do my Cardio Max when I get home just for some extra burnage...and to ease my conscience. | Woohoo! I did the Cardio Max workout after the exercise bike. 5 min=warmup 20 min=Cardio 5 min=yoga/cooldown. |

I really think I freaked out b/c of the amount of food I ate. It was a lot for what I've been used to for the last...43 days.
I LOVE Kashi food!! They could hire me as their spokesperson I eat their frozen meals, cereal, snacks, and whatever else they want to throw out there. The Kashi bar that I had (Pumpkin spice) was sooo good. However, I would like to comment on Kashi's ability to disguise the word "sugar" in their ingredients lists by calling it, "evaporated crystalized cane juice crystals." I almost choked on a whole grain while reading that!! Are they thinking we are idiots or what?!

Good luck with the weigh in!!!!!!!!! | Haha! I thought that I might overload the system here on the weight-loss-forum by entering in the words "fried mushrooms and cheesy mash potatoes" I still feel the guilt sitting on my thighs. Oh well. No worries....until I get on the scale tomorrow. Seriously though, I'm not that worried b/c of the amount of exercise I did today. It might do me some good to have all that protein in me! *Thinking positive thoughts* Thanks Buckeye! |

Rep Power: 16 | | What I wouldn't give for some fried mushrooms and cheesy mashed potatoes.
Congrats on not having a gain even though you splurged! But what you ate today sounds fantastic...I'd been wondering if Kashi was any good or not.
And I assume Laughing Cow cheese is also yummy? I've wanted to try that out too, but I keep forgetting when I make my grocery list. |

Seriously. Kashi is my favorite. I would be lost if they suddenly up and disappeared. I'll list my favorite Kashi stuff:
Favorite frozen meals-- Sweet and Sour Chicken; and if I'm in the mood I like the Rosemary Chicken (Be careful though. The rosemary might jump out and slap you in the face!)
Favorite Frozen pizzas- Roasted Garlic Chicken; and Mediteranean
Favorite Cereals- Go lean Crunch (This is good on cottage cheese and I'm sure it would be great in yogurt too); and this morning I tried the Autumn Wheat (which is like Mini-Wheats and it was reallllly good with peanut butter. I haven't tried it with milk yet, but I'm sure it's delicious.
Granola Bar--The Pumpkin Spice Flax was awesome!
Waffles--Go lean Blueberry. (Didn't like the original and I want to try the Strawberry Flax)
Crunch Bar--I've only tried one of these once at a friend's house and didn't like it too much. It was months ago and I wasn't really back into eating healthy yet, so maybe I didn't have much of a taste for it. It was one of the Chocolate Nut ones....(peanut,or almond) I think that I would like the Chocolate Preztle ones. Yum. Only as a treat though, cuz it's FULL of sugar...or as they like to call it...."evaporated cane juice crystals" HAHAH! Cracks me up everytime!!
........
The "Light Laughing Cow cheese" is really good and a nice portion in each wedge with only 35 calories. I have the Light Garlic and Herb; and the Light Swiss, which I haven't tried yet.

I'm glad that the scale gave you "not so bad" news today. All that exercise just burned those calories right up, and you were still able to enjoy a little extra endulgence.
Thanks for sharing your Kashi tips with us. I LOVE the Go Lean Crunch cereal. And, I bought a variety pack of the Kashi granola bars (Trail Mix, Peanut Butter, and Honey Almond Flax). Haven't tried any yet, but I'll let you know how they are.

Rep Power: 11 | | Girl you are looking good with this eating plan of yours! Laughing cow is amazing, I should really start buying it more often. There are also those little Babybel (sp?) that are little cheese circles and they are really light on the calories also. I love cheese and know that aisle like the back of my hand. Sad really. haha
I hope you are watching the Olympics tonight, water sports all evening!!!
USA USA USA!
Congrats on the no gain too. That is really amazing, considering that your meal made me gain four pounds just reading it. The four pounds was the jealousy increasing inside of me. haahaha Have a great night! |
