Rep Power: 0 | | OK, so Ive officially moved back home now, and wouldn't you know it, the 2nd day I'm here we are having a BBQ. I pretty much let my diet go for the road trip home. I didn't go nuts eating chips and donuts, but I ate tons of granola bars, tacos, cappuccinos and oddball junk. I stopped at my school about 1/3 of the way home and went out for breakfast with a friend that still lives there. I weighed myself when I got home and I had gained 5 lbs, but today I weighed myself again after a day back on my diet and I was right back where I started at 208. My goal for the month was 202. I don't think I'm going to make it...its been a pretty hectic month with lots of ups and downs. The challenge for me now is to continue my workout routine in a place where Ive only known gluttony and laziness. I need to find a gym real fast! It should be interesting to see how I adapt here. |

Rep Power: 0 | | OK, so Ive been stumbling all over the place this month with moving home to Utah and starting in a new hospital and stuff. Stress lowers my motivation. So I may not hit my goal this month, but I'm actually not too far off from it even with all the crap Ive eaten. I'm at 206 and my goal was 202 for this month. Ive still got a shot at it too, but I'm doubting its going to happen. I finally made it to the gym today...after quite a long hiatus. We plopped down a ton of money for a 12 month membership to a family fitness center. So I ran 3 miles today and did about 40 min on the elliptical. I didn't get tendinitis, but I iced when I got home just in case. I'm just really trying to get a routine going here so I don't fall off the wagon. But I think I'm on the right track so far...but its been challenging to say the least. |

Rep Power: 35 | | Don't doubt!! If you doubt yourself, its definately not gonna happen. I think you could totally do it, and if not? Oh well, theres always next month to boost your motivation, get your routine going, and getting a higher goal set. You can do this and we're all here for ya! |

Rep Power: 0 | | OK, I'm starting to get back on track. I didn't make it to the gym today but I did the last 2 days. I did 40 min of elliptical each day and ran 1.5 miles as well. I ran outside at a slow but respectable pace. No tendinitis as of yet. I promised myself I would wait till I was under 200 to start running outside again but I don't follow my own advice very well.
I didn't make my April goal of 202 lbs, and I'm still 2 lbs off...but I re calibrated my scale and it pushed me up a couple lbs otherwise I would be there now. When I first started using it, it seemed to weigh me higher, but now that Ive lost so much it seems more accurate. |

Rep Power: 0 | | I really got spun off track this last weekend. I ate out 3 times, not watching calories at all. I ate tons of candy, chips and cookies. I got back on track Monday, and finally today I am back in "lower weight" Zone. I'm 202 today, so close to breaking 200! Its amazing that I could be so close to breaking 200 and still be doing so bad staying on track. Every weekend has been a challenge for me since I moved back home, I'm not making my goals! I'm determined though that I will make my monthly goal this month! No more mess up "celebrations" |

Rep Power: 0 | | Troutman, looks like your catching back up with me. I havent been able to concentrate on dieting much and havent been doing great the last month or so. Im up to about 207, which isnt bad for how Ive been eating. I need to get back on track, but I have the next 3 weeks off and will be doing a lot of vacationing. I dont think Ill be losing during this time. Im trying not to gain anymore though. |

Rep Power: 0 | | OK, I'm back....or trying to get back. I have done very poorly since May. Since then I have gained over 20 lbs. I'm hitting 220 now and seeing all my hard work dissolve right in front of me. I haven't worked out in a month or so. I see a correlation between the time I spend on this site and how well I do on my diet, so my goal is to post on here at least 4 times a week and relate my progress, or lack thereof. Maybe it will help me get my butt in gear! |

Rep Power: 22 | | | Glad Your Back moabnut, Glad your back. I have not been consistent. My weight runs from 220 - 230 Lbs. Just not eating well. I am doing well on my running & not eating sugar (76 days without). Even though I have not ran in 7 days.
Like you said your weight will drop really fast when you start back up. Maybe I should take a look at that last sentence myself

Rep Power: 0 | | Hello Kaitie, Thanks for visiting my dusty, unused journal. Anyway, I was born and raised in a mormon family and even baptized, but Ive never really been an active mormon and dont really claim it as "my religion." Why, are you LDS?
I read some of your journal, congrats on the weight loss, I hope to see continued success reflected on your ticker. |

Rep Power: 0 | | well troutman, I hope that I'm right and will see the pounds drop off real fast...but I'm starting to doubt myself. I was in a half starved delirium when I wrote that...it really wasnt me. Anyway, I'm glad I'm back too. I need a little extra kick in the butt....something to boost my motivation. Every day for the last month or so Ive woken up on my diet and stayed true to my diet every minute until I reached the kitchen. Sometimes I would even make it to my work, but never much longer. I just have to keep reminding myself that failing isn't falling off the horse, its refusing to jump back on again that is true failure. Anyway...you will be seeing more of me around here weather I'm doing good or not! later | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
