Did you really take your couch completely out of the living room?!? WOW! Now, if that has not inspired my day, I don't know what possibly could!

Hey man congrats on the weight loss. From what it sounds like with your weight loss and getting back to creating you've really got "it" together.

Keep it up!

Great job. Keep it up!
Its the Lifestyles Essential brand, vanilla flavor. My ex-wife gave me a can to try.

Thanks also. It feels good to get reactions to my art, either positive or negative.....thats why I do it...it sparks reactions.

lol, yes. I gave it away on Craigs List.

O.K., I had a lot of food today 2675 calories. Now Im about at the 20% deficit mark for my weight. I then calculated my target calorie intakes for my weights in increments of 10 pounds all the way down to my target weight in a year........now I need to concentrate on my exercise consistency....gonna hit the exorcism of demon Fatty Fat Poo from all sides

Note to self: I really need to get into a strength training routine, my legs and back are in need of a lot of conditioning.

Ive been reading a lot about bulking up, and Im trying to figure out the nbalance between weight loss calorie deficits and muscle building calorie boosts......almost a catch 22 ....lol.

O.K. as promised: todays art:

This is 'Mack', he was a good cat. Did this drawing in charcoal.

Art! You're 10 pounds below me! Maybe I can catch up with ya, I guess we shall see. Great job man, sounds like you're dedicated to making a lifestyle change, which in my opinion is the only thing that works long term. I'll be down 100 in a year if I hit 31.2 more pounds before April 09.

Thanks peeps!

I am slacking on the journal entries, I know. Having family over takes a lot of effort...lol

Im still doing good on the exorcism.

Im staying kinda steady at the 276 mark, which is OK for now. I know Im eating right, and getting walks in every day.

Its a little hard to exercise inhouse with family over, but thats OK.....I have a year, and missing a couple days of weights and heavybag wont kill me.

I did discover a cool website for documenting the weightloss and nutrition: FitDay. It's purty darn nifty!

It tracks everything you eat, do, and keeps track of weights and measurements.

What I like about it, it not only keeps track of food calories, it keeps track of all it's nutritional values, so you can see in a glance how much carbs were intaken compared to fats, or how much Vitamin D you had today....that is really really cool. Also you can input any varible for amounts of food ( like ounces, grams, cups, etc...and it will convert it automatically for you and adjust the stats....."SWEET!"

okey, gotta go....I'm at work....lol.

I'll poke in tonight ( I hope), and check on y'all's journals...and find another picture to post too.

Love fitday! I try to write in my journal during the day and go there at night. It is so helpful with planning what I'm going to eat too!

Can't wait to see a new pic with the loss!

Hey there,
Glad to hear that you are having fun with your parents. (I just keep picturing them sitting on the floor...lol )

I'm also glad to hear you recognize that you have a year for this. You have definitely hit this thing with full force and it is ok to take a step back and relax, just as long as you don't fall back into old bad habits.

I keep wanting this to all be done by tomorrow! Hee.. hee...

I have been doing good !!!

When I got home form work yesterday, mom had ground beef steaks ready to go on he grill, and I politely declined and had a chicken breast instead. nice !!

They are really happy with me for hitting this plan like I am. So the support is there.....they just keep asking me "well what CAN you eat?" ....lol

Ive gotten my calorie input right about where I want itfor now, at around 2500-2800 depending on the day (and activity level) so far....that still falls into the 20% deficit...and it works!! Im losing about a third of a pound a day....and not feeling weak or hungry.

I ve been steady on the hour walk in the a.m., but Im not keeping to a very strict workout schedule for now.....Im getting clsoe to the nutrition/calorie zone where I want to be....then I will focus on "BEEFCAKING !!!" lol.

Im having chicken breast with peas now for lunch, and a peach.......but Ive been snacking all day on veggies. Had some Lite&Fit vanilla yogurt too (it has only 80 calories for 230grams....better than plain yogurt on that level)....have a power bar, nuts, and more veggies for the rest of the day until I get home.

....I'll have about 500-700 calories to play with for dinner tonight...depending on how much I want to move this eve...lol

see yas!
