EEEKKKKK!!!!!!
YOUR CHINCHILLAS ARE FREAKING ADORABLE!

Edited out (because no one wants to read that crap)

But your chinchillas are adorable! I heard they're hard to keep alive... that's why I got cats instead. I don't think I could ever regret my decision, it's just now I wonder if they really would have been smelly, mean, and hard to keep alive... or if that's just what my parents told me to keep me from getting a caged animal.

haha, well, that's about it.

Well its been a long time! I have been busy with work and school and havent really had much time to just breathe. Thank god its Friday! Yay!

I am heading home for the weekend tonight, and then tommorow going up to my cabin with my family and my boyfriend for my Dad's Birthday. (Hes 49 this year) Im excited to see my Baby Chillas tonight as well as my boy and excited to see my sister as well (I havent seen her practically all summer)

Things have been pretty normal around here. I contacted my dietitian and I am going to see her every other thursday starting on the 11th! Yay! The only thing Im not a fan of is that its going to be a mid day weigh in (so i will be retaining water) but awh well.

Ive drank twice since Ive been at school one night rum one night vodka, but nothing in excess. I was at a house party a few nights ago sipping my rum and diet coke playing cards with a few people and I was really hitting it off with this guy, but my friends ended up leaving the party, and I didnt want to walk back by myself so I had to call it a night as well. But when we got back to our apartment my friend and I went out for a smoke break (I only smoke sometimes when I drink--bad habit I know) We saw 2 other guys from the party and they stopped and visited us for while. So that was quite fun. I Do <3 Making New friends--especially when theyre cute.

Now I know that I have a boyfriend too *so your probably thinking Im crazy* but weve been dating for a VERY long time, and things between us can get a little sticky..and so things have been on questionable turf the last couple months. So I am still 100% devoted to him, but like to keep my options open when meeting new people

As for calories I was doing alright, I think Im at a little bit of an excess which is no good, but I know for sure that I will buckle down before I see my Dietitian so my first weigh-in wont be quite so dreadful.

I hope every one has a fabulous weekend!

Thanks Annie! I do love my Chillas! Ive only had them for a few months but I havent really had any problems with them. They do get overheated quickly so keeping them cool is always a challenge. But they dont smell because they have no skin dander, but they are noisy little buggers because they are nocturnal lol!

haha... I'd get some chinchillas now since you made them sound so awesome, but my 4 other pets would either scare them to death or kill and eat them.

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats... They're cute, sure, but chinchillas are like... OH EM GEE, that's the cutest thing I've ever seen kind of thing.

Edited:<oh man I gotta stop telling these dumbass stories... no one cares (duh)>

Ah well, what's done is done.

Great to hear that you're in touch with your dietician!
Awesome work so far! Keep it up!!

I feel like its been forever! I havent updated in quite a while--things have been pretty chaotic! Work is consuming my life, and then Im exhausted and have to do homework and then I just collapse on my bed and sleep til morning haha. Tommorow is my first official meeting with my dietitian I am a little nervous, I really dont like weighing in front of people but Its good for me to do it. I just have some anxiety isssues which have gotten better but I still am paranoid the nurses are going to write my weight down and laugh or say a snide comment like "wow youve gained a lot since your last visit" even though i know they wont *yipes*

Yesterday was a pretty decent food day I think. Starting trommorow I know I will be able to buckle down more since I will weigh in once every week. Im hoping that shell be able to help me with a plan to lose weight as well as recovery. Some Dietitans are hesitant for a weight loss plan with an ED patient..just because well they have an ED and are already freaky about their weight. ,

Otherwise things have been pretty good, My nutrition education class looks like it will be beneficial, I will actually be doing a presentation on our campus or at our highschool about eating disorders, so hopefully Ill be able to touch other peoples lives through personal experience and knowledge. If I had it my way I dont think anyone should ever have to experience what I have gone through. Its truly miserable. Organic Chemistry seems a little trying, but I expected that, and my business managment class is really interesting which makes me almost want to pursue my masters in business!

I guess this weekend when I was gone as well (I was up at my cabin*) A couple of my guyfriends who go to my college who i also went to highschool with came to visit me but I was gone...and my ex-boyfriend who goes to a neighboring college was also there. So it ended up being an awkward situation for my roomates since I was nowere to be found. I guess they just wanted to see what I was doing..so Im sure theyll come and visit again. I also had a dream about my ex-boyfriend last night, and the night before I had a dream I actually murdered my current boyfriend there is defintely something going on in my subconcious. But I always seem to have crazy dreams, because I take ambien every night for my side affects of teh prozac as well as chronic insomnia..so Ill have to decipher what my dreams mean a little later in time..

Today Ive had:
1 Fiber 1 poptart: 170
1 pack of dried fruit: 100
Lunch:
1 Chicken Chipotle Sub: ?
1 small bag of cheez its: 220
1 diet pepsi: 0

You actually take something to make you sleep after you take Prozac? That's funny... Prozac makes me really sleepy. Like, REALLY sleepy. odd.

I'm not sure I could decipher your dreams without sounding all "Freudian". I don't really think there's much meaning in dreams. We covered that tonight in psych class. My dad says that it's just a bunch of neurons firing randomly that our brain assembles nonsensically. Then there's the theory that it's your brain working out problems that may have arisen earlier in the day, then there's the Freudian theory that all dreams have meaning and they can be decoded by use of symbols. I think, personally, that that's a load of hooey. Anywho, you're doing good, girl! I know you'll be able to reach your goals!

Annie

They do make Fiber One Poptarts, I found them at a super walmart and I love them! I have the brown sugar and Cinnamon kind! Also The prozac used to make me tired when I took it, but I suffer from insomnia and am a chronic caffiene addict so I get a little jittery and restless at night, so I take sleeping pills. Plus my chillas are so noisy at night I am thankful I have my pills lol!

I met with my Dietitian yesterday, and she had some really good input on why my body is rejecting the ability to lose weight. I have pretty much F*cked up my metabolism and its going to take quite awhile for me to kick it back into gear, and she thought of instead of focusing so much on my calorie intake to count my food groups instead. Which I thought was cool and never really thought of doing before. Also, I am going to start back into my regular exercise and eating schedule to make sure my body knows when Im going to eat and when Im going to work out, so my metabolism will heal its self. Man the after effects of bulimia are a bitch...

Today Ive had:
Breakfast:
1 Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich: 320 (2G, 1P, 1O)
1 sparkling water: 0
Lunch:
1 Turkey Bacon Pita Sandwich: 450 (1 G, 1 P, 1F, 1V, 1D)
20 oz Diet Pop
1-100 Calorie pack chocolate chip cookie: (1 O)
1 pack of dried fruit: (1 F)
Snack
M & M's (1 O)
2 pieces of toast (2G, 1F)
Cottage Cheese (1D)
Dinner
2 Eggies in a basket (2 G, 2P, 1F)
Grapes (1F)
Other:
3 shots of vodka: (3A)
1 Sobe: (1 O)
1 small bottle of limoncello (2A)
So Far: 7 Grains, 4 Protein , 2 Dairy ,1 Vegetable ,3 Fat, 4 Other, 2 Fruit, 5 alcohol

*Goals for the day: 6 Grain, 3 Protein, 2-3 Dairy, 3-4 Vegetable, < 2 Fat, < 4 Other, 3 Fruit

So not quite in my entire goal range but for the first day I think its alright...

Hey lady!! Glad to hear you are doing well.

I am interested to see how counting food groups works and if it helps rev up your metabolism. Have you lost weight since starting your treatment?

Have a good weekend lady!

I have lost weight, but ive been bouncing up and down weight wise for a while and I jumped from 173 on Thursday morning , and now Im down to 170 this morning, so I have lost since treatment, but am not yet back into the 160' which I plan to be by next week. My body has a very hard time adjusting and never keeps a consistent weight. So far counting the group has been working really well and it makes me feel lesss calorie crazy and hopefully now since I will be weighing in myself every other day to give to my dietitian. Things will begin falling into place

Today Ive had:
Breakfast/Lunch
2 scrambled eggs w/cheese: 2 P, 1D: 200
2 blueberry waffles with syrup: 2G, 1F, 1F, 1O:300
Grapes: 1F : 100
Dinner
1 chik patty on a bun w/mayo and ketchup 300 (1P, 2G,1F,1O)
½ bowl of southwestern veggie soup (2V) 60
Fruit Cup 35 (1F)
½ bowl of sherbet (1O) 150

Total: 4 Grain, 3 Protein, 1 Dairy, 3 fruit,2 fats, 3 other

Hey there! I just sat and read your journal. I think it's very interesting. You seem like a fun person We have some things in common. I dealt with some bulimia issues as well, and we're also around the same age (I'm 22). I also have been with my bf for a pretty long time (almost 4 years) so I know what that's like! Anyway I hope everything is going well, and I'm going to definitely keep reading!

BTW you are so pretty!!!
