Rep Power: 37 | | LOL! Chinese food is so good. Can't say it hasn't happened to me either. What's with chinese food anyway, it's not like you get one thing, for me it's chow mein, fried rice, a couple of sides, maybe an egg roll, some soup. LOL
You'll do better, just do good on most days and you will be looking fly by the wedding! Congrats! |

Thanks MissJelly, I find myself finding too many excuses these days, it doesn’t help that I sprained my ankle last weekend and its still extremely sore, However when I run at lunch it only hurts for the first 2 min. of running, then once to the gym and on the cardio machine I am all good...
I need to weight myself sometime this week, although I don’t think I have lost anything, especially since I have slowly been steering away from the diet...
I will tell you I am still in pumped mode, working out at lunch is pretty exciting, it’s just going home to do P90X when I know I have soo much work to be done....
I need to work 20 hours a day in order to get everything done, its ridiculous... |

Rep Power: 5 | | I am pretty pumped today!!! I went to the gym and I am down another few pounds.....And the funny thing is I thought I was going to be at around the same weight considering I was not eating as well as I was before. Plus I have not done P90X in like 10 days....
I will say for anyone trying to loose weight, you here it time and time again. Diet is the number one way to loose weight....I mean I haven’t been eating really bad that past few days, but still nothing extremely healthy, and I have only been doing about 30 min of cardio at lunch...... |

Rep Power: 22 | | Good luck with your fitness venture as well as the upcoming wedding. Just a few thoughts after reading your journal here...take them as you will, I am no expert...just speaking from my own experiences. Try to record what you are eating everyday. This alone is a great tool to keep "crap" out of your mouth. Who wants to write... 10 medium wings from Hooters with wedge fries and three tall budwiesers??? Second, I know about the busy with work and family thing... trust me. If this is important to you, take some time to plan and organize so everything is just routine and you don't have to spend so much time each day preparing meals, logging workouts...and so on. Read the stickies here. They are full of great advice on nutrition, weight training, and planning. Add those things to the drive you seem to have already and... no problems acheiving your goals.
Good luck to ya! |

That is amazing that you are down this morning! I keep hearing about everyone talking about this P90x thing..... really makes me wanna see what it's all about!?!?! You sound like you are on an amazing track there! I have no worries that you will look amazing for your wedding, and CONGRATS by the way!
.....Jz, has a great point, I think that now since this past week of logging my meals into a system that counts them, I have controlled my eating a bit more, and I actually feel slimmer this morning too! Gotta say,....it's really the best way of staying accountable for EACH AND EVERY move of your day..... with no lies to oneself, if you know what I mean?!?! Cause it's so easy to get frustrated at the end of the week, and think damn, I didn't lose, but then when we REALLY look back at our actions that week, who do we have to blame, except ourselves right?!?!!................. FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal
I WISH YOU the best on your JOURNEY as well!!!

I thought I would read your Diary since you always leave me comments on the pics Thats so good that you lost some more lbs, keep it up!
I know you said that you thought you had stayed the same but I think its because we eat less even though its bad but at the sametime we still know that were trying to lose weight and not to really go over board.... does that make sense...lol
Congrats on you getting married! You should def. be at your goal by then
I also seen your pics and I think that you looked nice at the 215 weight since it didnt look like fat just muscle.
I hope you have a great week and lose some more lbs!!!! |

Good luck to ya! | JZ thanks for the helpful tips on checking out the stickys, I will definitely check them out.
My life is a crazy one to say the least. I am always on the go, doing everything and anything. If I’m not working, I am doing side projects designing or drawing someone’s house plans, or trying to find time to work on my modified car, hang out with friends and family.
I think I will def. try to stay on top of keeping the diary up to date in order to have a self check. But I will see what happens. |

Thank you for the positive feedback; I totally know what you mean about needing to record the things you eat in order to keep accurate records. Its tough just like JZ said, if you eat a large plate of pasta and garlic bread, it’s not the easiest to come put it out there. BUT!!! We all need to be accountable. So with that said I will do my best to record my meals.....especially the slip ups.
I am confident as well that I will be at a good weight by my wedding, if I can maintain the road I’m on right now.
O and ps the P90X is real intense, I will tell you it hard to get motivated to do it, but if you can, you will def. see results, its a great DVD collection. I would say its Ideal to do it with a partner in order to keep you motivated. I have only done it 7-8 times this month, and then just fell off. But I am going to get back into it. After 1hr you are sweating like a beast. Feels great!!! lol Amber
Thanks for droppin a line, and thanks for the compliments on my old pics. You see I used to be slim then I bulked up, then I just ate with out continuing to work out....
So underneath my chub I have a good structure to deal with. My plan of action is to continue doing lots of cardio and light weights until I’m down to like 195-200, then I will start lifting bigger weights again. I don’t want have to slim of a build.

....Hey the great part is at least you have some of those pics with your frame in em,....I only have before ones BEFORE THE FRAME APPEARED!!! lol |
