Rep Power: 8 | | So another weekend down
It snowed all day and night Saturday, which was awesome despite the fact I hate the cold!! So yesterday we went for a nice long walk, nearly slipped over countless times, but really enjoyed it.
Had a pretty average weekend in regards to eating right and exercising. Saturday night we went to the cinema, and when we got back I had a tiny tiny tiny piece of cheesecake (My g/f had made it for our friends as a moving in gift) But I did steer clear of the Desperados that were flying about
And then yesterday had a HUGE roast dinner round my g/f's Mums..it was awesome, nice joint of beef (not all to myself ) and an awesome spread of veggies etc...They had toffee cheesecake for afters, but luckily my cheesecake crazing had been squashed the night before, so I skipped it and chose 15 mins HIIT on the Ep trainer when I got home instead...not nearly as tasty, but definately more satisfying.
Anyway, another Monday morning at work, sitting here tired and cold (all the snow has melted already!!! but its still bloody cold!)
I am in a really good mood today though, I had 2 really nice messages to read first thing which really cheered me up. Also have HapKiDo tonight and Im really looking forward to it..
Well thats about it, hope all are well and that you all had a great weekend. |

Rep Power: 8 | | | Update I've been feeling a bit run down the last couple of days, keep getting light headed when I stand up suddenly, plus had a niggly headache all day today
Anyway, my g/f was crazy excited today, she had dropped into a new stonge range (she's now down to 11st 13lbs) she's been stuck at 12st 2lbs for ages, so she was super thrilled!!
Im feeling really good about my nutrition and excersie this week, worked my bum off at Hapkido on monday, done some HIIT on sunday, and have walked at least 5 miles everday. Had a lovely tea last night, some homemade curried turkey meatballs and a little bit of spaghetti
Currently at work, and its sooooooooo quiet..its now 18:00 and Im here till 22:00 with nothing to do but surf the interweb and maybe watch a movie...such a hard life
Might now have a chance to read through a few diarys aswell..need to keep my motivation up
Well best get back to my tuna salad... |

Rep Power: 42 | | | How is your blood pressure? A lot of people who have been heavy for a long time with no problems with blood pressure find that they have low blood pressure when they lose weight and get fit. That can cause the light headedness. |

I might go back and check again though..I've read in a few posts that blood pressure can drop significantly..and as far as Im aware my BP was always good, so its def a possibility that it could be low now
You know of anything that can be done without meds or such? |

Rep Power: 42 | | | I know that there are things, but what they are, I don't know. My sister has or had that problem. She passed out driving one hot day. Now she can't own a car without air conditioning. |

Rep Power: 8 | | | Tfif!! God am I happy its Friday!!
Its been a looooooooong boring week at work!!
Anyway, really enjoyed Hapkido last night, starting to feel like my technique and form is improving!! I did get kicked in the nose accidentally by a black belt showing me a hook kick, but thankfully I didnt cry
Well it was weigh day today, and Im another 3lbs down!!! I was again aiming for 2lb so Im very happy..only 5lbs to go!!!
Im going to have to look at my next goal, something I havent had to think about yet becasue my initial goal was so huge!!
Im happy that I should be down to my initial goal by Christmas though, although Im not planning to go mental with food, it'll be nice to be able to be a bit 'relaxed' if ya know what I mean.
Going round my Mums tonight for tea, Chicken Fajitas and home made potato wedges (possibly a bit of chilli too ) My sis and her bloke are going aswell so will be nice to catch up.
Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving |

Rep Power: 42 | | | I talked to my sister about her low blood pressure. She said that her doctor recommended not taking medication for it as it can cause hypertension. All she did was increase her sodium intake. One V8 a day was enough to take care of it. She's since gained back some weight and it's not a problem, but if she had taken the meds she'd be in trouble now. She also recommends getting a BP cuff and learning how to take your own pressure. She would check it weekly. |

Thanks again buddy, much appreciated. |

Rep Power: 8 | | Well another week down, and another 3lbs gone!
Im really happy with 3lbs this week, I felt like I had gone off track a little with my eating and exercise, but obviously I had done enough!
So I've been giving it some thought on what my next goal should be, and Ive decided to aim for ONEderland, so my next goal is to get to 199lbs!!
I think this is a sensible goal, and will give me a BMI of 23.6 which means its still comfortably within in the healthy range.
Nothing else to report really, been kinda a slow dull week...ooh other than Im treating myself tonight...im gonna have FISH AND CHIPS!! Us british dont do many things well, but Fish and Chips is one thing to we totally rock the socks off.
Might not sound like much of a treat, but I havent had F+C in soooo long, so im really looking forward to it.
Anyway, hope all are well. |

Rep Power: 7 | | It's funny how you can think that you've seriously messed up, when in fact, you've exceeded your expectations.
I think that happens to everyone, though.
199 does sound like a good goal.
Seeing a 1 as that first digit after you've been seeing 2 for so long feels SO SO SO good.
Good luck. You can do it! |

I see you have decided to make the trip to ONEderland. What an amazing accomplishment that will be... and with the way you've been melting weight off, I am sure you will reach that ONEderful place VERY soon.
Good luck on your trip! | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
