199 does sound like a good goal.

Seeing a 1 as that first digit after you've been seeing 2 for so long feels SO SO SO good.

Good luck. You can do it!
It is funny..and awesome!!

I guess the odd bad day doesnt really matter in the great scheme of things

Well I remember how happy I was going from a 3 to a 2, so I cant wait to see a 1 first..its been a long time since I have

Thanks for stopping by, and for the encouragement..means alot

Cheers Brandon, for your kind (and ever so slightly cheesy...ONEderful? thats bad even in my book ) words..Hope you know that you are inspiring me with the results your having, and when Im feeling lazy, I think of how you and others are doing and it gets my ass back in gear

Well gotta hit 210 first before I focus too much on ONEderland..weigh in tomorrow morning, and although Im only 2lbs away, the numbers I've been dropping lately have been low (I guess its because Im getting closer to my ideal weight) so its still exciting as I honestly dont know if I've hit it or not!!!

Fingers crossed!!

So despite having wicked bad man flu, missing both my Hapkido training sessions and eating pretty bad over the weekend...I managed to lose the last 2lbs to hit my initial goal of 210lbs!!!!

I feel awful though today, so not able to enjoy my success fully

Its been a long journey so far, I've had to deal with alot of the issues which led me to over eat, and Im finally feeling like Im winning the battle...but the truth is the battle will never stop, I will have to keep on fighting or go back to my old self..which is never gonna happen!!

I just wanna thank everyone for sharing there advice and personal stories, although I lost most of my weight before joining this forum, it really has helped me..and will continue to help me going forward.

You guys/gals are awesome.

Updated my ticker with my new goal of 199lbs..decided to leave my starting weight at 349lbs and not change it to 210lbs..I think it will help keep me motivated to see how far I've come whenever I need a kick up the ass.

Absolutely you should keep your original starting weight up there! That is where I, and I am sure many others, draw inspiration from. You have lost 40% of your old self. Wow! There are not too many math problems I know of that equal 100% happiness when you subtract 40% of anything. If that made sense?!?!

Anyways... Have a ONEderful weekend.

Well sitting here at work bored out of my mind, with a huge tin of chocolates in my sight..but not tempted in the slightest to indulge..its crazy, going back just 10 months and I would be polishing those bad boys off!!

Anyway, Ive decided to stop tracking calories for a while, might seem daft, but I didnt track them for the first 6-7 months, and I feel I have the knowledge now that I can continue my journey without obsessing over every bit of food that goes into my body!!

So far its going well, I weigh myself every morning as part of my 'morning ritual' and Im 2lbs down since Friday, and I KNOW that I've eaten probably more calories than I have in quite a while..funny how the body works eh?
Especially because I have done very little exercise due to my lingering manflu

Back to Hapkido tomorrow night though..Ive missed the last 3 sessions, and Im feeling the effects already for not going!!

Also, brought myself a new coffe maker yesterday and some fresh Italian Roast coffee beans, and my god..Im in coffee heaven. I've never owned a 'proper' coffee machine before, and I now dont know how I've lived without it!!

Anyway, things are still going well, feeling a lot more positive than I have in recent days (prob because I was sick, I was getting quite down about everything). Looking forward to some well needed time off work over x-mas, and also to spend some quality time with friends and family!

Hope all are well.

Don't you just hate that? At my work, every Wednesday is doughnut day and every Friday is danish day. Not to mention all of the cookies and cheese trays that our customers have sent us.

Does anyone send fruit baskets anymore?

Can I get a friggin fruit basket?!?!?!?!

I am not getting much help at work either. Every single employee finds it necessary to explain every detail of every goodie that we have available. "Oh, those cookies just melt it your mouth!" BLAH!

If and when I get that fruit basket, I will subtly blurt, "Whoa... These oranges are full of vitamin D!"

You think that will work?

Thanks

Might hit the elip trainer when I get home to get me back in the swing of things..I walked into walk today but that was only 2.8 miles, not nearly enough to satisfy my strange exercise craving!!!

Mhmmmmm danish day..that sounds like it should be a freakin Public Holiday!!
Doughnut day I can overlook, but danish day...thats some serious temptation!!

Exactly what I said to one of my co-workers on Monday..she brought in homemade sauage rolls, mince pies and jam tarts!!
Wouldnt be so bad but she started losing weight when I did (and has lost about 56lbs) so she should know better

If your work place is anything like mine..you may not make it out the building alive
