Peggy's Weight Loss Journey

stole the questions from someone but hoped they would motivate me if i answered them honestly..

1. What is your current height and weight?
Height: 5'1 / weight 140.2

2. If you were at an ideal weight now, what would that weight be?
anywhere from 110 to 120 .. so lets go 115..

3. At what weight would you like to be at four months from now?
at 4 punds a month i could be 124, but at 8 a month could be at goal..

4. Why do you want to lose weight?
I just want to be healthy and look good. I am a mom of 6 kids ages 22 to 1 and just want to get that prepreg body back as close as possible..

5. Do you want to lose weight for a specific life event such as wedding or reunion? If so, when is that event?
Nope, just for me this time..

6. What obstacles could get between you and your weight loss goals?
eating what the kids eat or what they don't finish. I am busy and on the road alot and it is alot of eating on the run..

7. Why do you think that you now have a weight problem?
because i havent lost all the baby wieght yet and he will be a year in less than a week.. .

8. What lifestyle changes do you think would help you lose weight?
think before i eat, exersize, take some time for me, easier said than done.

9. Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight?
i was over 200 pounds when i had my 5th baby and with exersize and weight watcher i got donw to 119. So that is my plan this time too, just need to find the motivation..

10. Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back?
I had another pregnancy and put on 70 pounds. Now just have to change the lifestyle to get it back off.

11. What, if anything, has not worked for you in the past in helping you to lose weight? Why do you think it did not work?
it is usually me and my lack of saying no that hinders me.. i don't say no to junk food, don't say no i need time to exersize, never say no..

12. Would you try writing down all food and drink consumed for a given period of time?
yes, that is what i do with weight watchers anyway..

13. Do you cook at home often? If so, what do you cook?
not really , we are on the go alot..

14. How often do you go out to eat? Where do you go?
usually daily somewhere.. fast food and yes i need to make better choices there..

15. What are your three favorite foods?
speghetti and meatballs, grilled cheese, and burgers

16. What are your three favorite restaurants?
Tom's country kitchen, Burger King and Arbys

17. What are three things you can do differently when it comes to food?
weigh and measure out my food, make better choices out aka grilled chicken instead of burgers or nuggets, think before it goes in my mouth..

18. If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different?
the belly would be smaller, the thighs be smaller and bust bigger..

19. Do you eat when you are not hungry?
Yes.. i eat out of habit..

20. Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)?
sometimes when we go out.. i don't like to throw away food..

21. Do you hide your food or eat in secret?
sometimes

22. Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed?
no

23. Do you eat as a reward?
sometimes

24. Do you eat while watching TV or using the computer?
yes

25. What do you normally eat for a meal?
whatever is quick and easy..

26. What type of snacks do you eat?
chips, pretzels, lowfat icecream and ww snacks..

27. In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing?
I do pilates and am starting walking tapes again and doing some toning..

28. Where do you go for exercise? A local public gym? School/work gym? Home?
I have tapes at home..

29. What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise?
I like the step, aerobics and toning tapes, walking

30. What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals?
I want to be able to keep up with my boys.. I am 39 and my youngest group of kids are 9,3,and 1 and i want to be able to keep up with two toddler boys..

31. Do you have rewards for certain goals?
every 5 pounds i want to get a manicure or pedicure and every 10 a new outfit..

wow that was alot of thinking and soul searching.. with my eating habits no wonder i am not losing anymore weight...
