2 yrs ago I was a size 18 [US] (ughick!!!). It took me a year to get down to a size 8 [US]. In the process I lost 100 lbs. It was wonderful. No longer did people talk endlessly about what a beautiful face I had and my beautiful hair. People talked about my killer body. At 5' 8"...a size 8 looks great. I had plans to continue to lose weight until I was a size 4 [US]. Instead I maintained for a year. Then in January my Ex and I parted ways. I didn't eat for 3 months and lost 35 lbs. Even though it was emotionally painful I was happy that I lost the weight. SInce late Spring I have begun to pack the pounds back on. I have gained a ton of weight and am currently stuffing myself into a size 12 [US]. I'm here to fix this problem and to prevent gaining anymore weight. I'm back to my goal of a size 4[US]. For some reason it seems more difficult this time around.
Last week I started running two miles on my treadmill. For the past month I've been using 15lb freeweights and I've done yoga consistently since I was a child. I'm planning to work up to four miles on the treadmill.
