Workout: Treadmill walk/run, a bit of dancing, gumdo martial arts teaching (warm-ups and basic forms)
Miles/30Min on Treadmill: 2.00
Weight: 189.4 lb
Gain/Loss: -2lb
Comments: I couldn't reach my 2.2miles minimum goal! I don't know why but the back of my calves were hurting like CRAZY. I'm glad I did pull through 30 minutes, though, and surprised that I hit 2.00 miles.
I also drank LOTS of water today...but had one large meal instead of three evenly-spaced ones. Updated Point System
2 large bottles of water: 1 Treadmill: 0 (Did do 30 minutes but missed 2.2 by 0.2!)
Snacks: 1
Drink: 1
Gumdo: 1*
* = When I teach gumdo (a sword martial arts) on Mondays/Wednesdays, I'll also do the warm-ups and basic forms along with the students. I sweated! And also I learn gumdo on Saturdays. TOTAL SO FAR: 4
& Question: Can too much water ever be BAD? How much is too much? |

Rep Power: 5 | | I weighed myself this morning, and I was around 187.4, two pounds lighter than last night. I know that in the mornings, you tend to weigh less, but I'd really love to keep this thing OFF.
For a late breakfast (around 9) I had a light meal of rice, dried seaweed, and kimchi. Just enough to ease off the hunger, since I hadn't had anything since yesterday lunch. I should really work on eating smaller meals throughout the day, yesterday being the worst case scenario. 0_0;; |

Workout: Treadmill walk/run
Miles/30Min on Treadmill: 2.54 in 31 minutes.
Weight: 188.4 lb
Gain/Loss: -1lb
Comments: Drank lots of water, had very small breakfast and lunch. My mom picked today to have pork! Slices kind of like bacon but thicker, juicier, not salty, 200 times better....BUT! I resisted and only had lettuce, rice, and mushrooms. Shocked my mom, so proud of myself Updated Point System
2 large bottles of water: 1 (nearly 3 bottles!) Treadmill: 1
Snacks: 1
Drink: 1
Gumdo: N/A TOTAL SO FAR: 8
I realized that I'm a bit impatient with the weightloss. I think it's because once, I pulled myself from 185 to 169, and seeing the 188 and 189 up there makes me feel like I've gained weight since the weight loss. But I know I'm losing rougly a pound a week. =] |

Rep Power: 5 | | | I forgot to bring my water bottle today, will just have to count the number of glasses of water I drink.
For breakfast we had to have donuts! Ugh! I was hungry but just ate one. I'm not letting my weight soar up.... |

Rep Power: 5 | | Okay. For lunch I had some rice, lettuce, kimchi, and mushrooms (like last night, except less). Around four I was so hungry that I ate another donut.
For dinner, we went out. I didn't eat as much as I normally do but I'm still dissatisfied with myself. We also had frozen yogurt!!
This is first time feeling full (uh-oh) for about two, three days. I'm going to exercise in less than an hour, I think. |

When I weighed myself after I got back from the fatty dinner and ice-cream, I was 190.4lb. I was horrified. But after I ran, took a shower, and got into lighter clothing which I usually wear when I measure myself each night, I was actually one pound lighter than last night! Hooray! |

Rep Power: 5 | | Breakfast: New Year soup. A cup of coffee because I was too drowsy.
I had some pieces of butter popcorn and candy popcorn. Not too much, though. And then for lunch I had this spicy dish with dumplings. Didn't have much, because there weren't much. The guiltiest part of today is that I had many pieces of chocolate.
I don't know what we're having for dinner. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Can I make a suggestion? You might want to make an extra effort to eat more consistently throughout the day. By eating a super low calorie diet, your setting yourself up for some pretty intense cravings. Remember that you need at least 1,200 calories a day, especially if you are going to be working out. Balanced nutrition means adequate amounts of the esssential nutrients: Protein, carbohydrates, fat, water, vitamins, and minerals. I would like to see you reach your goal by this summer, let me know if I can help. Good Luck! |

I know it's good to eat more consistently, but my work/school schedule often leads to really unhealthy takeout or no good food I'd like to eat.
It'll probably change for the next two months, though, when we'll be ordering in *healthy* Korean food for lunch every weekday. |

Rep Power: 6 | | Don't beat yourself up, your body must have needed the sleep. You are doing really well to manage 30min on a treadmill, I'm not sure I could. Congrats on still losing weight! |

I'm really hungry right now. Had no breakfast because I woke up too late (after all the sleeping, too!). I drank one big bottle of water (32 oz) and ate half an orange. My mom is bringing my lunch but she's not here yet!!
I think I'll be adding the number of pounds lost each week to the points. To reach 30 a week I have to be perfect every single day, I noticed! Haha. x) |

Rep Power: 5 | | Food so far:
- 64 ounces of water
- Half an orange
- 11 pieces of vegetarian kimbap [a finger food]
- Half a huge sweet potato [so pretty much one regular size sweet potato]
- One chocolate crunch stick
[And Adding]
- One mint chocolate cookie.
The stick and the cookie count toward unhealthy snack. I am allowed only one more for the day.

Rep Power: 5 | | For dinner I had a Korean meal of tofu soup, rice (maybe more than I needed,) some more pieces of kimbap, fish, etc. I had enough to feel full, didn't go too overboard.
I weighed myself and I'm 189 (No!) but I know that it's only because it's right after I ate. I'm going to clean my room (which will take some time and calories) and then do my 30 minutes (hopefully more) on the treadmill. Then I'll take a shower, weigh myself, and record in my diary again. |

ps -- do you like korean bbq ribs? ahah so random, sorry. but i think they're soooo goood. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
