Rep Power: 5 | | Threw up. I hate throwing up. But I threw up most of what I ate for dinner.
I wasn't feeling sick or anything, but after I ran and tried to take a shower, the odor of the fish I had for dinner kind of surged(?) up and grossed me out, big time.
Like I said, I hate throwing up. I almost cried. It's disgusting!! Even after brushing my teeth with a large amount of toothpaste and drinking a glass of water, I still felt grossed out. I'm chewing gum right now.

Rep Power: 5 | | So this morning, for brunch (it was eleven), my mom had out rice, other Korean stuff, and this dish with veggies and pork.
I thought it'd be safe if I had some pork, since I totally denied it in its greasy form. But then my mom told me not to have any. I said I'll just have one, so I ate it. After that I just had veggies, etc. Then, I asked if I could have another piece, and she SMIRKED at me.
She was saying that I was always telling her that she's an obstacle in weightloss. YEAH MOM. I want you to cook healthy food, not cook regular food and then put me aside, humiliating me in front of everyone. I almost cried then, AND THEN my dad says: Quote: |
It's not like you're going to continue the treadmill for long, and it's not like you can lose weight that way. Just take my dog out for a walk.
| This comment made me so angry that I almost threw up.
I just feel like my family is not at all supportive of my weight loss while always making me feel like shit because of my weight. |

Rep Power: 5 | | I ended up going to the sauna yesterday and sleeping over. Going to run in a few minutes.
I'll continue recording weight, etc., but I'm going to have to abandon the point system for this week because it got too complicated. Will start again once I hit the 170's. |

Rep Power: 9 | | Hey! I'm so sorry your family isn't being supportive in your weight loss endeavors. It's hard to succeed at something when those around you are negative.
I know you're determined so you just have to push through their negative words and keep working at it. Once they see that you ARE committed, they might have a change of heart.
I personally think you're doing WONDERFULLY! If my mom made yummy food and put it in front of me, I'm pretty sure I'd eat it all. High five for having self restraint! Keep us updated on your progress. You're FABULOUS! |

Rep Power: 5 | | Thank you so much! You definitely keep me motivated
My mom actually told me yesterday and today to delay weight loss until I'm done with the tests I have to take. I said no... weight loss is a lifestyle change, not a one-time thing.
I know I missed yesterday...

Workout: Treadmill 30 Min.
Miles/30Min on Treadmill: 2.60 <- RECORD!

Gain/Loss: +0.2 This isn't surprising, as I ate a lot today. I was 183.3 this morning...
I'm getting back on track tomorrow. Water, proportion, all that shiz.
I haven't really been studying hard lately, both because of laziness and because I've been so focused on weight loss and weight loss only. It's time I learned to balance it all! |

Rep Power: 6 | | Hey Rosa , good to see your on track again...it is about balance, and finding that balance is hard. It is especially hard when those closest to you don't give you the support you need. My family are classic, they don't think I need to lose weight, even though it is obvious, and last time I did lose the weight they labelled me too skinny...hee hee and I'm 32 with a family of my own, so it doesn't ever stop..lol.
You can do this...keep your chin up! |

Rep Power: 5 | | Thank you so much Lilly!
This morning I was running late so I grabbed a banana. I was going to buy my lunch (despite all the unhealthy choices we have at my college) because it's like 2:00 p.m. and I'm hungry, BUT! I realized that I forgot to bring my wallet!!
So right now all I have is water. D: |

Rep Power: 5 | | So as late lunch I had half a sweet potato...and then we had a HUGE dinner. Yikes!
I had pork and veggies and mushrooms...and some chicken later! Horrible, horrible.
Date: 1/5/09
Workout: Gumdo warm ups and basic forms, Treadmill 20 min Treadmill: 1.64 in 20 minutes. I couldn't do a lot because people were sleeping and the treadmill makes horrendous noise.
Weight: 186.4 lb
Gain/Loss: 0...
Comments: I was doing well until dinner time. Only had a banana and half a sweet potato until dinner. And at dinner I ate too much because the food was so good! D: I think if I ate in moderation I could have lost at least half a pound. Not that that's a lot, but still.. |

Rep Power: 5 | | | Yikes, I've been so bad this week...with someone coming to live in my house, the food has been exceptionally good, and I couldn't exercise much because I started college again with really hardcore courses. T_T
My weight hasn't changed much, it's still 186.4. My mom says I shouldn't run 30 minutes, just walk 1 hour. I'm not too sure yet. I'm just going to have to control what I eat more and try to be as active as possible. So stressful! |

Rep Power: 5 | | I think I regained two pounds by what I saw last night. I did extra gumdo today and am going to run on the treadmill in a bit. I've been lazy with the water, too. |

Rep Power: 9 | | I know it's a little discouraging to see the weight go up a little but that's OK! We're human and sometmies we slip up a little. Just get right back on the treadmill today and work that food off! WOOO | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
