Hey Christina, thanks for stopping in. the exercising is going fantastic. Brandy Renee and I got together on Chat and did a 1 hour "virtual buddy workout." We all did one hour of exercise on our own, then popped in and said what all we did and such. it was great. awesome way to get that little extra motivation to work harder. Hopefully you'll be able to jump on chat with us one of these nights that we're doing it. it really is fun.

So, yeah, did that hour worth of exercise. bit of cardio (4 miles of walking) and some weights too. squats, lunges, chest press, bicep curls, tricep extentions, and rows. so HA! no kicking my butt JZ, I did great!
My eating sucked, but I did okay for dinner and post-workout snacking.
And now, seeing as it's officially the week AFTER newyears (silly superstitious Shandy) I can really start keeping track of my daily calories again. I've got the white board on the fridge all set up for it already. So, here's to a fresh start and some added motivation.


6 Week Challenge Day 1 (for me at least since I'll probably be stopping a couple days early with Matt coming home before the actual end of the challenge)... Here we go!!!

Working out "together" really was fun. I hope we can do it again. Eating sucked?? BAD SHANDY! *slap slap* lol. When Matt gets home you will stop being on WLF? You really will only need to pop in the last day for posting final results and such. How long does he come home for? A few months? Well, I'll probably see you in chat today/tonight. So have a wonderful day! Keep up the exercise, and good eating from now on!!

Day-ummmm. You guys already started the challenge? Ive been recovering from two 1-minute squats these past 2 days!

Hey Kate-no we haven't actually started the challenge, I'm just "starting" a couple days early since I'll be finishing a couple days early when my husband gets home. I might be back on in time for the final points, but I don't know for sure.

I did fantastic with my food today. 1480 as a final total. of course I haven't had my post-workout snack, but at the moment I'm not really hungry. So, who knows I might actually stay below 1500 today. wouldn't that be spiffy?

I don't know what my problem is today. I'm just really not in the mood to workout tonight. I did about a half hour of bellydancing and just quit. I couldn't get into it no matter how hard I tried. I tried switching CD's and everything. nothing worked. but still I got a half hour in. and if I can brow beat myself into it I'll do a 2 mile vid tonight before bed. no promises on that one though.

Well, I'm off to the chat room to see if any one else managed to attempt a workout today. a couple of us just didn't have the umph for it. but I'll take a "something's better than nothing" approach to my workout today.
and on that note.....

The whole "Virtual Buddy workout" is genius!!!! Count me in a one of those next time you are on!

That virtual buddy workout thing sounds so fun. I wish I had been on! Good job on that by the way, it sounds awesome!
