Well, looks like I'm going to get smacked around when Brandy gets back. I did pretty bad with my eating today. just couldn't seem to stay out of the damn kitchen. so I ended up eating at maintenance levels instead of weight loss levels. which sucks. but i'm going to go do my 4 miles before I go to bed. hopefully that'll help make up for it.
I'm all kinds of thrilled for the 6 weeks new years challenge to start tomorrow. Even though Trops is on the other team and already talking trash, I'm still hoping to have fun. and no, I don't plan on joining in on the smack talk, sorry. Not my style. I'll just stick to quietly sneaking up and beating everyone's ass. much more fun that way.
And on that note I'm off to do my miles. Looking forward to posting my accomplishments for tomorrow.

Trops is talking trash? Trops is talking trash? First of all, if I remember correctly, Karl and JZ were talking trash before I even entered the competition. Secondly, by saying "trash" I am inferring that you mean that what I'm saying is rubbish, which it most certainly is not.

I still stand by you talking "trash" Trops. sorry darlin'. I call it like I see it. and I never said JZ and Karl weren't. but they're on my team, so them mouthing off doesn't involve me. so

Just finished 2 miles. decided not to do the 2nd vid. I'm saving up for tomorrow. but I still got a half hour of cardio, some fantastic stretching, light weights, and I'm getting ready to do my planks just before bed. nothing better to heat an empty bed than warm muscles. hey, it's the best I've got for another 6 weeks.

And on that note, I'm going to go do my planks, set my alarm, and go to bed!!!

I know it can be hard with the food and everything, but starting Tues, must be diligent! Our team will do great I'm sure. I know I'm gonna do everything I can. I can't wait to get this started with all my WLF friends

JZ-I'll be doing heavier weights today, so no need to get all tough with me just yet. And feel free to smack talk all you want, I'm just not going to. I'm gonna be the sneaky one that never says anything but is building up insane ammounts of points. no need to tell everyone that I rock, I know it.

Lux, Christina, Michelle-We're going to kick some serious a$$ in this challenge. I'm more than ready for this one.

Belly dancing!!! I have only been doing it in my weekly class, shame! However, I met a new friend, Jason, who sometimes drums for his friend who is a belly dancer and Yoga instructor (sounds good to me!), and Sunday we got together and practiced a bit. Michelle- WE ROCK!!! YEAH BABY!!! Team 2 is kickin' ass and taking names already. Sorry Trops and Val, we can still be friends even if you're not on the winning team. Oh wait, I promised no smack talk.

Val-Good to hear you're still dancing! I took a month long break from dancing and good god am I feeling it now! I hadn't realized just how much it takes to keep with it. That'll teach me to slack off.


So, Official Day One of the challenge-I ROCKED IT! Did the full 4 miles, half hour of weight training(Happy JZ? ) and didn't cheat on my food all day. Now if only I could get some damn sleep, life would be great. I'm just too keyed up. I think I'm going to go do some Shandyoga (I'm silly, sorry) and see if I can't zen myself to sleep. if that doesn't work, at least I'll have worked on my flexibility.
So, on that note....

YAY!!! I'm glad you did well today!! I'm still trying to figure out what team I've been put on I'll figure it out soon (I hope).. 4miles thats awesome!! I'm gonna kill that treadmill tomorrow and do lots of workouts that get me going and I'm going to try and work out in the morning too.. so I can start the day off feeling good!! Anyways I wanted to see how you did and looks like you did great!!!!!
